Has there been a clinical study on Prostatic Artery Embolization and the impact it may or may not have on PCa?
This procedure has been around for quite some time for BPH, specifically targeting patients that have large prostates or patients that balk at other procedures like TURP, Urolift, etc. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/treatment-tests-and-therapies/prostatic-artery-embolization If cancer requires

High grade prostate cancer: Large Tumor, High Gleason (9), Low PSA. What next?
Hi everyone, I am new here. My father (50 years old) has been recently diagnosed with high grade prostate cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock to us but we are trying to approach it head-on and gather as much information as possible. We are researching to decide on the best treatment moving forward

Nervous about this fenbendazole article
I just found this article about fenbendazole : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/10528635/ Does it really cause liver cancer. I took 1 gm (220 mg fenbendazole) for 6 days straight. I know the protocol was 3 on/ 4 off but saw people taking it for a week to start the process and make it effective.

Sister & niece update!
Yesterday, my sister went to the baby doc for a check on the baby and the baby's heartbeat was low so the fill-in doc sent her to labor and delivery as it is best to get her out now than wait. Last night at about 8pm they started her on Pitocin to induce labor. This morning she was having painful contractions

Can I work round this, do you think?
I take Amlodipine to reduce my blood pressure. I read that Cialis/ tadalafil, taken regularly in very small dosage, will reduce my BP as well as combat my .ED - all obviously subject to professional opinionl Has anyone any thoughts?

TURP alternative for BPH
I have BPH and eurology is not an option due to the size of the prostate. I’m in mid 50s otherwise good health. I’ve been told TURP is the only way to go. Does anyone know of any alternative to the TURP which seems to have mixed results? Thanks

Will this immunotherapy work for me? A common immune cell points the way.
For many lung cancer patients, the best treatment options involve checkpoint inhibitors. These immunotherapy drugs unleash a patient’s immune system against their disease and can yield dramatic results, even in advanced cancers. But checkpoint inhibitors come with a huge caveat: They only help a small

Nightime Incontinence
Had prostate surgery back in Feb. NEVER incontinent at night. Took me 8 months to be 95% continent during the day which I was ok with (I guess). Started SRT and about 4 weeks in, I started to leak a little while sleeping AND I lost some of my daytime continence. Now, 6 weeks after finishing Radiation

Hi everyone, I haven't posted on here in a while but this has been a long term condition I have been suffering with for a few years at this point. It has put a strain on my relationship - which has (thankfully) lasted throughout this whole ordeal; but I need to get this sorted and would like someone's

Postoperative Circulating Tumor Cells
New Korean paper below [1]. The study was on "203 patients with undetectable {PSA} who had undergone radical prostatectomy". Over a third had circulating tumor cells [CTCs] ("at a median of 4.5 months after surgery.") "CTC detection was independently associated with an increased risk of biochemical recurrence
