morning ladys i had a intrior bladder repair 6 weeks ago i felt fine up untill 2 weeks a go when i felt like a passing out feeling and short of breath .i ssen th gyno she said everything looked intacted and there was just acouple of sitches needed to desolve . i went home then 4 days after i started to feel like this and i felt heavy and like i neded to go toilet to urinate in the day and up to to three time in the night i took a urine sample in my docs to be tested she said no you havent got a one. so i was precribeddoxycycline take 2 yesterday at 100mg with food then take 1 everyday untill finished which will be wenday my last one .so i took my 2 yesterday then this mornig i started sweating all in my face and chest annd back and felt like pains in my legs and hand s and short of breath . so i phoned the chemist they said go doctors i did the receptionist said go home the doc will ring you . so doctor rang half hour ago and said she doesent think its a reaction to the tablets . as i would of gone like it half hour after taking them . and to carry on and see how i go . as any one had these systoms with doxycycline . im not taking any other meds at all so theres nothing it can interact with . ps any ideas what it could be i dont paanic but it isent a nice feeling when it comes on i was wiping the surfurces in the kitchen when it came on.

It sounds like a possible allergic reaction to me. Maybe you should tell your doctor your side effects.

hi i told my doctor to day and she said she doent think its that but i do as i wasent like that befor it was horrible im not as bad now but still dont feel well iv got to see my doc in the morning thank s for replying

What was the material they used to your anterior repair? Are you on any kind of hormones and did they get disrupted? As Kona girl said it could be an allergic reaction. Have you used doxycycline before and have you had any problems with it?

i had a my bladder stiched the surgen said to me after i was back on the ward after surgery that i dident need a hyersectomy after all. and everything went well and all i needed was my bladder sitched as it slipt stight across . i felt fine after . then at 730pm that same day after i had my surgery i anurse came gave me a blod clotting injection in my leg half ahour after i said nurse im going realy hot i think i could be having a reaction to it . she went and got a doctor and the doctor said yes it seem like you have had a reaction you are not to have any more . the next day i was going realy red in the face and felt a little light headed . then the next day the nurse said how are you feeling . i said it feels like its not as bad now so she said well your bp is ok and tempreture and bloods are ok you can go home . i did . i was feeling a little unwell but put it down to the op and i rested and ate well and healthy and slept in the day . then the 4th week of being home i recived a letter in the post to see gyno i did although i thort it was a little early to ssee me for a check up . but i went she said your here early but ill check she said evrything looks ok just two stiches need to desolove . il discharge you .i thort thats alittle early i would of thort she would have waited till the 6 week s befor discharging me. then i went home 3 days after i stated feeling unwell a gain i thort . im going to have complete rest do nothing at all . but as the week went on i stated having a feeling of lousing my brath and a wired feeling in my face like i was going to pass out . so i went to my gp she said ill give you doxycycline 100mg take 2 first day then 1 every day till its finished i took the 2 in the afternoon and i took then wen i had my meal . then com evening time i started feeling like i could not get my beath and i felt like i was going to pass ot it was horrible feeling i was like that all night . till the next morning i felt alot bit better and it wasent happening so much i told my doctor she said i dont think itds the doxycycline . i said i do i wasent like that untill i took it . and i dident take any more and iv been alot better but i still feel unwell i feel like iv got a water in fection but they teted it last week and said not but i had been drinking a lot of water to try and fluh it out if it was one untill i got it tested iv rang my doc this morning she phoned me i told her i was a lot better than i was but still feel lie a ache down be low like you want to urinate and when i went down the shop took a slow walk this moring i felt sightly unsteady and i felt my face going hoter and hotter out of breath i wasent like that 3 weeks a go when i went a short walk i got home and my face looked lik i had been burnt

Try making homemade ginger tea with real ginger. Add some lemon juice to it. It might help.

i went doctors she said it could be my hihaitus hernia playing up and she said you have a aportment at breast care clinic on the 11th of this month as i had a light rash under mu breast bone and thats were im having a bad achey pain stright under my breastbone stright across to the right . iv got to take 40mg a day of omeprazole for 4 weeks to see how how i m then . and to rest . i hate taking them omeprazoe not good tablet side effect not good .

i went back doctors this morning and they said we will test your urine again i said ok i have done one so she tested it said she doesent think there was anything to say theres a urine infection but she would send it to the lab . then she said i have a light rash under my left breast under the breast bone thats ere i get the achey pain stright across so she said i have a aportment for the 11th of this month .at the breast care clinic . as i had breast cancer 9 yrs ago dident go in the lyth nodes . or it could be my hiatus hernia playing up so iv got to take 40mg a day for a month see how i feel in 4 weeks and make a portment then

Ok. Sounds good. Don't hesitate to call them back if something else pops up. It sounded to me like you had a reaction to the antibiotic. But short term. Hopefully no infection. Are the stitches dissolved? If not they can be irritating.

morning theres 2 that needs to desolve. i think it was i think i did have a reaction to the antibiotics . iwill get back to my gp if something else pops up . thankyou for your replys take care

good morning…I hope your feeling better after reading how your recovery is going it reminded me of my recovery from having my prolapsed bladder stitched up 5 yrs ago…the Ache feeling of a water infection …I was misdiagnosed with interstitial cystitis so after taking many different pills that gave me reactions too…I started drinking marshmallow root tea (you can get it on line) I get the loose tea and soak 4 Tbls over night in a qt size jar of water then strain it out in a glass and drink it thru out the day along with slippery elm capsules (2) up to 3 times a day…I found this to sooth the bladder and the ache I hope this helps…again I have had many different meds scince my surgery and have reacted to them all

funny you mentioned slippery elms i just got them come in the ost from holland and barretts . to help my diegestive systum as i get acid reflux fare ups and a hiatus hernia so iv took my frist one this morning as i dont want to take them horrible omeprazole. ill get some marshmellow root thankyou do much the ache is uncomfy
