Cellularity 10-20% after treatment completed
Mine based on bone marrow
biopsy
and after treatment was completed is 10-20% . I'm not even close to 80 or 90 years old so it would seem I should have a score of 40s at least. Other than that all tracked numbers at blood tests are great and within range.

Anxiety Creeping In
Upcoming liver
biopsy
Monday morning…as it gets closer I’m finding the anxiety level is slowly creeping up. Trying to stay occupied mentally and physically to help manage it. I’ve had cancer before and not looking to repeat that experience again.

New Paradigm for PC "Newbies"
It incorporates new technologies and strategies including more extensive evaluation before prostate
biopsy
using risk stratification, multi-parametric MRI (mpMRI) scans, early use of PSMA PET scans. Who is appropriate for, and standards for "Active Surveillance", localized treatments have changed.

How long for NHS biopsy results?
Hi thereSaw gastro after suffering from unexplained vitamin deficiencies (folate, ferritin/iron, borderline B12 and D) and despite having clear coeliac blood tests he wanted to rule it out. I had a gastroscopy with biopsies Sunday 29th Jan so 4 weeks ago tomorrow. Any idea how long NHS biopsies are taking

Lupkynis approved in Switzerland to treat adults with lupus nephritis
The approval specifically covers the treatment, given along immunosuppressants, for adults with active class 3, 4, and 5 lupus nephritis — three subtypes of the condition that are based on the type of tissue damage visible on a kidney

Covid concerns
Recent elevated WBC counts led me to the hematologists office for more blood work and a bone marrow
biopsy
. Original dx was presumed to be marginal zone lymphoma, but at my appt this week the oncologist said that it is CLL. I have a CT scan for staging at the end of the month.

Locally Advanced Prostate Cancer, at diagnosis
His gleason score was a 9, grade 5 at
biopsy
. A PET scan seems to be showing that a near lymph node has been compromised. We're still waiting to see doctors - at first local urologist recommended appointments with surgeons, and after PET scan is now suggesting he see a radiation oncologist.

Had anyone is dealing or have dealt with lymphomedema in your scrotum
The oncologist is planning a liver
biopsy
to see what type of prostate cancer we are dealing with. He is checking as I am also of trials with Plivicto, hopefully the production will increase.

Thank you!
My new doctor confirmed the polycythemia diagnosis via bone marrow
biopsy
but also found No JAK2 mutation. The hydroxyurea that sent me to ER is not recommended (yay!).

Mammogram update
I am now returning next week for a
biopsy
which will determine if its benign and just a result of ageing or requires further treatment. I felt quite reassured by the medic and fortunately have a quick follow up appointment. My INR levels might delay the
biopsy
but fingers crossed it doesn't.

Question on Genetic Testing, how much is too much?
Biopsy
to Sacrum done 1/23, it is a met from Prostate and tissue is being tested. MO now wants another genetic testing (blood DNA) I think, done with Tempus. How many genetic testings are normal? Anyone else had this many?

Rising PSA
I do have another surveillance
biopsy
next week but this rising PSA concerns me. Lab says they don't check Free PSA when PSA is over 10. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

Low sodium diet
I am here, on this forum for my husband's CKD/proteinuria (all unexplained- kidney
biopsy
was "normal" as well as his genetic test). Anyway, his Nephrologist put him on low sodium November 30th. I went on it with him and haven't had a migraine since!

Treatment Options Analysis Paralysis
My
biopsy
showed 3/12 cores with cancer, 2 with 3+ and 1 core 3+4 (4% of the sample). No apparent lymph node or other structures impacted. I had my
biopsy
and MRI at Johns Hopkins and went to Georgetown for the expertise in Cyberknife.

Diet & Fasting/Chemo
I had a huge tumor removed last week; now waiting for the
biopsy
results. A second surgery is planned to removed the womb, other ovary and lymph nodes, just in case of spread, though the surgeon is confident that he got the whole tumor out in one and only one other patch was found on the urethra.
