Mammogram update

Thank you to all who responded to my 'What Next' post. I had my recall appointment yesterday which revealed I have some calcification in a one breast. I am now returning next week for a biopsy which will determine if its benign and just a result of ageing or requires further treatment. I felt quite reassured by the medic and fortunately have a quick follow up appointment. My INR levels might delay the biopsy but fingers crossed it doesn't.

I was found to have calcification over 30 years ago, been kept an eye on but never developed into anything bad 🍀

You sound much calmer and they're seeing you quickly, so hopefully you'll be able to put this worry all behind you soon.

Like Buffafly I had some calcification found on a mammogram many years ago. No progression since. Start taking vit K2 . This helps stop calcification of soft tissues . There are people on this forum who take it with Warfarin and say it helps stabilise their INR. If you take any calcium supplements it is important.

Thanks for this. I don't take calcium supplements. It's interesting that K2 stabilises INR as mine see-saws constantly for no reason. I will look into it.
