Locally Advanced Prostate Cancer, at diagnosis
His gleason score was a 9, grade 5 at
biopsy
. A PET scan seems to be showing that a near lymph node has been compromised. We're still waiting to see doctors - at first local urologist recommended appointments with surgeons, and after PET scan is now suggesting he see a radiation oncologist.

Can a
biopsy
give false results without removing the previous treatment? My opinion is yes, but that's just my opinion. Lately I am seeing many people with positive biopsies and mutations. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1002255923489156

My battle with castration resistant metastatic prostate cancer that had spread to the bones since 2021
What do I need to do after
biopsy
, surgery, chemotherapy, Abiraterone treatment and ailment seems to progress as I am always in intense pain and sleepless nights? My PSA hovers above 100.

Rising PSA
I do have another surveillance
biopsy
next week but this rising PSA concerns me. Lab says they don't check Free PSA when PSA is over 10. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

Had Colonoscopy - Clean but....
1) no polyps 2) non-bleeding internal -hemorrhoids (moderate and grade 1) 3) localized area of mildly vascular-pattern decreased mucosa was found in sigmoid colon (
biopsy
taken but was told nothing there) 4) asked to come back in 5 years for surveillance. What do I make of # 3?

Low sodium diet
I am here, on this forum for my husband's CKD/proteinuria (all unexplained- kidney
biopsy
was "normal" as well as his genetic test). Anyway, his Nephrologist put him on low sodium November 30th. I went on it with him and haven't had a migraine since!

Update
I did have another
biopsy
of my prostate. No cancer there anymore, just 8 or so places in the bones. Unfortunately, without the PPI I was miserable and could not move forward with the clinical trial. April 30 I had my first infusion of docetaxel. Yes, there are side effects.

Progress update - Pirtobrutinib triple trial for treatment naive
No bone marrow
biopsy
was done - I have that scheduled for the end of Cycle 7. I was elated, to say the least! A separate Flow Cytometry indicated that all of my lymphocytes in my blood are T-cells and NK cells - there were no CD19+ cells.

Cellularity 10-20% after treatment completed
Mine based on bone marrow
biopsy
and after treatment was completed is 10-20% . I'm not even close to 80 or 90 years old so it would seem I should have a score of 40s at least. Other than that all tracked numbers at blood tests are great and within range.

Pleural effusion
Hi everyone Some will remember I’ve recently been in hospital twice with above condition, well I’m back in again , went to see GP and he sent me straight to admissions, horrendous shoulder pain and breathlessness yet again. Respiratory team have already decided to bring forward 3 month CT with contrast

My new doctor confirmed the polycythemia diagnosis via bone marrow
biopsy
but also found No JAK2 mutation. The hydroxyurea that sent me to ER is not recommended (yay!).

Non small cell carcinoma in lung.
I have recently been diagnosed with non small cell carcinoma of the lung by the Royal Brompton. They sent a letter to my GP requesting an urgent 2 week referral to local oncology, GP surgery said they hadn't received the part of the letter asking for the referral. I emailed them a copy as they requested

Had anyone is dealing or have dealt with lymphomedema in your scrotum
The oncologist is planning a liver
biopsy
to see what type of prostate cancer we are dealing with. He is checking as I am also of trials with Plivicto, hopefully the production will increase.

Treatment Options Analysis Paralysis
My
biopsy
showed 3/12 cores with cancer, 2 with 3+ and 1 core 3+4 (4% of the sample). No apparent lymph node or other structures impacted. I had my
biopsy
and MRI at Johns Hopkins and went to Georgetown for the expertise in Cyberknife.

So I previously had an enlarged 2.6cm benign Nodule (after
Biopsy
), along with another 3 on both sides on my thyroids. They said my thyroid function was fine. I am due to get bloods done again in 3 weeks.

Canesflor and ERA progesterone results advice please
My receptive window is 121 hours and when my progesterone was tested before the ERA
biopsy
, it was 76. The consultant said we could increase to 3 Lubion instead of 2, but I would like to know if that then goes against the ERA recommendation.

Update on Nuclear Scan and where I am at now.
First: thank you all for the kind support I have received since - Much appreciated. To the Nuclear Scan ordered by my GP for suspect spread from bladder cancer to the bones. I got a call from my GP surgery today telling me Dr wanted to let me know, NO bone cancer found. Thant's one worry gone.
