Canesflor and ERA progesterone results advice please

Looking for some advice please. I had my ERA test which showed that my lactobacillus is on the low side so I started canesflor, the first 3 days of using it, I didn’t notice any discharge from it, but the last 2 days I’ve noticed discharge from it and I thought I pushed it up as high as I could without an applicator. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal?

In addition to this, you have to use canesflor for 4 weeks after inserting for 6 days. This means I would have my transfer before taking the last capsule. Has anyone else done this? Anyone doubled up and took the 4 in 2 weeks than 4 and got a positive response? Also assuming you can’t use it on your period?

My receptive window is 121 hours and when my progesterone was tested before the ERA biopsy, it was 76. The consultant said we could increase to 3 Lubion instead of 2, but I would like to know if that then goes against the ERA recommendation. For example my receptive window was 121 based on my progesterone levels at that time and the protocol I was on.

If anyone has any advice, guidance or success stories they would be greatly appreciated Thank you.

heya. I think a bit of discharge is normal with any kind of pessary… as for the timing, yes you can double your and take them all before your transfer - my doctor told me to take them daily for 14 days and ignore what it said on the box! No idea if it made a difference…. (That particular transfer didn’t work, but u really don’t think that was the reason).

Thank you for replying and sharing, I’m definitely thinking of finishing the course before my transfer now. Otherwise, I feel like I’m going against the ERA advice and seeing as we can’t get shorter courses as the probiotics suggested are not available here, it’s a pain. Hi, just wanted to say best of luck with your treatment. In terms of the canesflor I would follow the advice on the packet as the nurse told me to just take for 10 days and I ended up having to do another dose at my good bacteria was still low so suspect that was because I hadn’t done the full dose. It’s a pain but better than having to start all over again if you don’t take correct dose to start off with. In terms of the ERA it seems odd that the clinic are just suggesting to up your lubion but stick to same receptive window as I thought the whole idea of having an ERA was to keep protocol the same for transfer but ensure they use the recommended timing. I would ask if you increase the dose would this impact your receptive window. Are you having to have a repeat biopsy following your canesflor treatment? Hope everything goes well at transfer for you xxx

Thank you for sharing and replying. I am not having another test after canesflor. I have taken the 6 and now it states to have 1 per week. I’m guessing if I take the remaining 4 in the box in a shorter period of time, hopefully it will increase the lactobacillus in time for my transfer. I have also emailed the clinic to ask re increasing progesterone and impact on receptivity window and will come back and update response here for others to learn, should they find themselves in a similar position. Re the ERA, it’s not the amount of progesterone that you are taking but when you start taking it.

So if you need 121 hours before transfer you will start taking it that exact amount before.

Most clinics like your levels to be over 100 before transfer which will be why they suggesting upping the volume.
