My Story
Here is my story of when my anxiety all began.. I never knew what triggered my anxiety and what took over my life until things fell in to my place and I realised my accident which happened back in 2013 could of been the start to this horrible illness 'anxiety' anyway back in December 2013 I was badly

Betaine HCL - How Long For?
I suspect I have low stomach acid and will do the bicarb test in the morning. If you do have low hcl, how long do you stay on hcl supplements for? Is it a long term supplement or generally a shortish term fix? Hope everyone is well!

Chronic fatigue... bit lost on where to go...
Would really value any advice on what to do next i.e. should I get my own blood tests done, which ones to pick etc. I felt like I finally got some answers in Dr Sarah Myhill's book 'Chronic Fatigue Syndrome' only to be kicked back under by the pretty much certainty that her waiting list will never open

T3 from USA??
Hi, I've tried T4 only & no improvements, then tried NDT (naturethroid) & can only tolerate 0.5 grain twice a day. Any more & I get palpitations & a wired feeling. Do you think it's worth trying T3 only? My bloods showed lowish T3 (3.6 - 4) & slightly elevated TSH (between 3.6 - 4.6). 24hr thyroid

Chronic vaginal/vulval itching and burning with no infection
It was probably a reaction to
betadine
that they put on me, but now I have chronic itching and burning. I know this happens with postmenopausal women, but I do use topical estrogen (Premarin) and it still happens. It comes and goes.

Tired. Feel like giving up the battle.
This is my first post here. I signed up yesterday. I've been battling this shit for 10 months now. I've been more or less home bound because of it. For 10 months. I've been struggling with varying conditions during this period. At first, it was suspected SIBO. Antibiotics got rid of it, and I was happy

Compression Fracture of L1 vertebrae and chronic back pain
Hello, first time posting here. Has anyone had ongoing severe chronic back pain from breaking their back? Four years ago a wave at the beach dumped me into the ground breaking my back (L1). It was classed as stable so I was put in a back brace for 5 months. It was excruciating pain. Even though my spinal

Can Somebody Advise Me on a Safe Painkller with PA?
I'm hoping somebody can help me here. I have avoided painkillers for years due to low stomach acid. However, I now find myself in a position where I'm going to have to take some. What would you advise? I will be able to take a couple of betaine HCL with pepsin when I take any painkillers and I will take

Hi, I don't seem to be absorbing B12 and I get very bloated and I seemed to have become lactose intolerant. So I did the sodium bicarbonate test to check for low stomach acid and I didn't burp at all. I tried taking Betaine hcl with Pepsin. I started with a small dose and gradually increased it. I

Betain and gastritis??
Well following my previous post I was reading up on tests for low stomach acid etc and actually copied and pasted this :- 'Note: NSAIDs and Corticosteroids increase the chances of ulcers in the stomach and together with Betaine HCL increase the risk of gastritis. Consult a physician before trying this

Treating Low Stomach Acid
I have been suffering from chronic GERD (indigestion/ stomach acid) for ages. So my GP gave a script for a giant bottle of Gaviscon (the type that contains potassium hydrogen carbonate) I took a dose and -oh my goodness - I had the worse acid attack I've had in years. I stupidly thought I hadn't taken

More on Magnesium
My AF seems less frequent in the summer. Maybe it is because I get more sun exposure and thus more vitamin D. The comment on tea could be of interest to tea drinkers. I found this information on the website below. Hopefully, this info has not already been posted. http://drmyhill.co.uk/wiki/Magnesium
