Can Somebody Advise Me on a Safe Painkller with PA?

I'm hoping somebody can help me here. I have avoided painkillers for years due to low stomach acid. However, I now find myself in a position where I'm going to have to take some. What would you advise? I will be able to take a couple of betaine HCL with pepsin when I take any painkillers and I will take them with food.

Many thanks.

If you have low stomach acid then there should be no problems with NSAIDS so I'd use ibuprofen.

However, I'd check with my doctor or pharmacist first.

Paracetamol is the safest painkiller ~ If you need something stronger Paracetamol with Codeine should be fine too (If you can tolerate Codeine) - ideally only for short term use. NSAIDS should never be taken for anyone with stomach issues - they can cause all sorts of problems in the gut. I have PA and been told several times by specialists never to take Ibuprofen. Hope this helps :)
