Metallic taste
Hi, I have an awful metallic taste in my mouth and my tongue keeps going white. I have had it swabbed and it's supposedly fine. Any suggestions to get rid of the taste and improve my appetite before I loose any more weight?

Hi all, I have had inhalers for "asthma" now confirmed "COPD" . This is the first time I have ever had thrush in my throat. I always drink fluid after using my inhalers and use a spacer. Does anyone else have these problems

What to do after illness???
So I did week 3 run 3 yesterday, it was fine. Started feeling ill towards the end of the day and woke up this morning feeling like death. Looked in my mouth and some nice big white lumps all over the tonsils, so off to the doctors and yes, i have tonsillitis. Fun! I guess that means I should rest etc

Jaw pain and the Dentist - ouch!
Well thats £160 gone on one tooth! Wish I earned that kind of money for half an hours work! Still, its a good job and the mess the old dentist had left has been tidied up and I can now eat on that side! He had left me with no tooth contact! Had a word with the dentist [she is very nice and no pain

Lupus & oral thrush?
I'm also suffering endless bouts of oral thrush since last October but as I've got both lupus & Sjogren's I've tended to put it down to the latter. Intrigued to discover that lupus can also be a cause as my GP feels I'm most likely currently in a flare. I've had thedx for 15 years almost but have only

FOSTAIR, STEROID INHALERS AND ALTERNATIVES?
I am looking for some advice because I am so fed up of suffering with the side effects of inhalers. Does anyone know if there are any such things as non-steroidal preventer inhalers? Every time I use a steroid inhaler (preventer) for anything more than 3-5 days, I stiffen up. My whole upper body

Persistent oral thrush
Hi. Has anyone else suffered with oral thrush? This is the 3rd time I've had it and it's really getting me down. I lose my voice with it as well as having sore white patches in the back of my mouth/throat. The last 2times I've had it I've had a weeks course of tablets which do clear it up but it comes

Has anyone managed to get over tonsillitis or a chest infection ok but is left with a niggling cough for weeks after, that will not go away?
This cough affects John especially in the evening and in the night and he is struggling to shake it off. Has anyone else experienced this?
