Tocilizumab reaction after 9 months
(I was very close to home when this happened otherwise I would have gone straight to the ER) I didn't have any breathing or swelling issues and I had an epi-pen in my trauma kit which I was close to using but I called my rheumatologist who told me to take a large dose of prednisone and

Experience with First Round of Ocrevus
They started out by giving me oral doses of Tylenol and
Benadryl
. Then, I got the IV started (took 4 tries!), and they gave me some steroids to help prevent an infusion reaction. After 30 minutes, they started the Ocrevus.

What helps me during flares...
I gargle a mix of childrens
Benadryl
and maalox. When I have ulcers down below I use herp be gone (it's not just for "herpes" it's for all sorts of rashes, ulcers etc). All natural and it helps sooth the pain. I am also on colchicine 3x a day and it's really helped a lot!

Bronchiectasis?
Also if I take a
benadryl
tablet every night, I have no phlegm at all the next day. The only reason I don't take them every night, is that they started giving me a lot of heart palpitations. My husband thinks all l have is an allergy. What do you think?

I tried
Benadryl
spray without improvement, though
Benadryl
gel has helped me when I've had poison oak. The gel wasn't available when I tried to restock my supply, so I used the spray. Has anyone had better relief from the gel as opposed to the gel?

Drank tonic water, wore compression stockings before bed, took 12.5mgm of
Benadryl
, even tried the bar of soap in the bed! To make matters worse, I'm on CPAP at night, so I'm really in a fix!

Allergic to IV Dye
My local oncologist now wants me to have another one....he said there is a protocol he can use involving prednisone,
Benadryl
, etc. to administer the dye. I said "no" I'm not comfortable with that, I don't want the dye.

Hope this post helps someone new to RLS
I accidentally found that children's
Benadryl
helps me get through most days. Also if things get bad as they do sometimes Mr dr gave me diazepam. I take 2.5 mg. And for that night all will be good. It's very hard to explain how all if this feels as you guys know.

Update
They start the infusion with
Benadryl
and a Steroid. I had a bit of vertigo for about the first hour and a half but slept on and off most of it. I did have a round of vertigo yesterday afternoon for a couple hours on and off. But can't say that's the meds case that normal for my reality now!

Benadryl
makes me so, so, so sleepy that I'm afraid to add it to my regimen. I'm already sleeping 7+ hours at night and up to 4 hours during the day.

Drug Trial update - Gazyva with TGR-1202
The first day was a little rough due to the massive steroids and
Benadryl
they give you first, gives you the wobbles pretty bad. Once the Gazyva kicks in, a few upchucks and laying down all day, the second day was better and not so sick, just head buzzy.

Itchy Palms
I washed my hands good and took some
Benadryl
. Later that day the the other palm, same area, started but wasn't as bad as the left. This has continued for about 3 days now. I have tried anti itch ointments, more
Benadryl
, lotion but nothing works.
