Dietary Approaches to Improve Efficacy and Control Side Effects of Levodopa Therapy in Parkinson's Disease: A Systematic Review
I was researching supplement
BCAA
provided by my husband's functional medicine MD. I was surprised to find one of the ingredients was listed as a major contraindication with levodopa. L-Phenylalanine. Dug a little deeper and it related to protein and impact on levodopa.

confused about supplements and certain foods
I take creatine would like to add
bcaa
/lucene and glutamine. Any issues here? Also I tend to consume a reasonable amount of Greek yogurt, mostly low-fat, and I add feta cheese to my salads and vegetables for lunch. Is dairy an issue?

I also take
bcaa
and Vitamin E plus a probiotic and multivitamin. Its not easy some days but I know that its slowing the progression and thats all we can really do.

Omega-3 supplement does not help above 50- Study indicates.
It has got all the essential amino acids our body needs along with rich sources of
BCAA
. However, unfortunately most of the people can not digest whey properly. I tried myself and gave up after first few mild doses after stomach cramps . Then I found out from reviews that I was not alone !

New here and need advice!
I do a lot of training so I need to have a lot of protein and the quantities of fat and carbs are fixed - I use protein shakes to supplement (low carb and low fat ones) and
BCAA
(no sugar) drinks for after sports.

Can anyone recommend a good quality BCAA pls?
BCAAs are made from essential amino acids. This means your body needs them to function, but cannot produce them on its own. Heard these can help especially when exercising so thought I’d get some if anyone can help

Fatigue, the soul sucker, can anything help?
People also often have a problem digesting protein so we use
BCAA
, branched chain amino acid, 4 grams per day for that. It is predigested protein. Here is a link that has some information. http://www.fattyliverfoundation.org/fatigue

How do you make sure you drink enough water and how do you flavourtite it?
I don't usually drink enough water, I either forget and just don't feel like drinking, I have tried flavouring it with mint of lemon or tea but it is not great, I like it when I put
BCAA
in it but I am not sure how healthy it is if I don't train but it can be a bit expensive.

Totes Amazeballs!
I am now going to go and gloat in a most unsportsmanlike manner and have a celebratory smoothie of raw deer liver, egg,
BCAA
powder and spinach.
