Hi Jane

BCAA means branched chain amino acids so it is a technical term. The branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are a group of three essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine. They are essential, meaning they can't be produced by your body and must be obtained from food. BCAA supplements have been shown to build muscle, decrease muscle fatigue and alleviate muscle soreness. Amino Complex is a brand name used by several manufacturers to sell supplements. Most amino acids are made by the body so whether buying them helps is a matter for debate but BCAA's must come from the diet so if your digestion is compromised you may have some difficulty which is why it may benefit some people. Four grams per day or less would be a typical recommendation although the manufacturers suggest more.

So amino complex is good to buy? I was looking at some products and it seem like there was so much other stuff in it I just wasn’t sure

Well. we don't recommend products generally and the supplement industry is filled with corruption so I don't know about that company but here is something to think about. Taking a lot of supplements without knowing that you need them just puts an extra workload on the liver. We believe you should ask your liver to do as little work as possible and you have to be cautious about taking things that might be harmful. We are OK with a small amount of BCAA because people with liver problems often have difficulty with digestion and those can't be made by the body but we also recommend caution with supplements.

You can just take a whey protein shake for your BCAAs or you can get them in foods like-chicken,turkey,eggs,red meat, tuna and salmon. If you want an actual BCAA supplement then go online and buy them good brands are, reflex nutrition, usn, optimum nutrition. But if your already drinking whey shakes you would just be wasteing your money to be honest.IHope this helped you.
