Valium
The thing about taking something like valium and it been addictive means nothing for rsl as it would be taken for life so there would be no need to have to wean off it at some point. If it works and has no side effects its worth a try.

My father had RLS, this was in the 60's and 70's that it went really bad. His Dr gave him Valium. He took it every night and it seemed to do the job.

Esophageal dysmotility - failed esophageal manometry test - where do I go from here?
I am a 40 year old mother of 2 young children and have suffered from dysphagia since last year, starting with pill dysphagia in the last months of pregnancy, and then gradually to solids which became acute in September 2018. I am obese, although have lost 12 kgs in the last 2.5 months due to not eating

Working through it...
For the past hour I’ve been afraid that I’m having a stroke. I had numbness of the left side of my head to my ear.. freaked out.. got home, took my BP and it was fine.. tried to calm down and I’m still scared. Everything is tingling. Just took 2mg of valium.. praying it helps soon to avoid an ER visit

How long did it take before your neuropathy had healed.
I'm around 6 months into treatment allot of the pain has gone away. I'm feeling much better then I was, but still have some issues. Depression and slight insomnia, which makes me hate life at the moment. The tingling, it isn't painful, just annoying. Do I still have a chance of getting rid of the wacky

Iron and low red cell count
Please tell me whatever you know about supplements like Ferrous Sulfate 325 milligram tablets, or Iron 65mg tablets, and if it helps boost red cell counts. My oncologist says supplements wont help. If you disagree with him, post your opinion please.

Hyper to hypothyroidism, anxiety, anemia and low kidney function..
I was diagnosed at 16 with hyperthyroidism and was put on carbimazole and propranolol to help lower my heart rate. I was taken off the approximately 3/4 years later and given radioactive therapy to shrink a growth on my thyroid. I was advised that this could mean I may become under active eventually.

Fireworks, perchlorate and fetal brain development linked
Every year, when the supermarkets fall over themselves to sell fireworks rather than food, I am reminded of the connection between a significant ingredient of fireworks and the thyroid. This year, whilst a bit late - Guy Fawkes and Diwali have been and gone - I am at least getting round to posting.
