T3 and Barium swallow - and quick update on T3 trial
Hello I’m having a barium swallow test today and the instructions say no eating or drinking 6 hours before the test. I normally take my T3 about 3pm (right after test time) would you take it before with a tiny bit of water or should I wait a certain number of hours after the test to take it? Thanks

Unnumbered post Learn from your mistakes 23 Feb 2021 2
Family, PAY ATTENTION. If something does not work the way "YOU" want it or had planned it to be, PAY ATTENTION and change your behaviour. This is a very BIG COMPLICATED illness, that we all have. PAY ATTENTION and learn from your mistakes and adjust. I learned that I am claustrophobic, so

Beloved ms family. All well and excited about the new day? I am wondering about a new desk so I have more room for my gym, I like the desk I have just a few inches (Centimeters) smaller is all I need. Ahh another problem to think about, what I need is a bigger house. The important stuff. As

Magnesium and thyroid issues
Has anyone tried increasing their magnesium intake to help their body to heal? This would help readjust the balance in the body between calcium and magnesium as they work as antagonists (work in balance with each other). Magnesium is used in hundreds of processes in the body so if we don't have enough

Are these symptoms typical 2 weeks post op?
I had my hysterectomy 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have had my uterus, cervix and fallopian tubes removed. I lost 1/2 litre of blood during surgery so I have been given ferrous sulfate to take for a month. Blood pressure is at the lower end of ok. But still, it's ok :) I have two questions... I am feeling dizzy

Waters breaking at 30 weeks (PPROM) - twins
Never out of the woods with this "journey"! Ugh, can't sit back and relax for one moment and think it's all safe. On Wednesday my waters broke. Quite a bit earlier than expected! Called the maternity assessment centre who checked me over and confirmed my waters had broke and my cervix was open 1cm, and

Update on Ferrous Bisglycinate
A quick update on Ferrous Bisglycinate. Prior to this, I have only had success with Liquid Ferrous Sulfate. After trying all the other over counter medications, the doctor prescribed the Liquid. I got an immediate boost to my levels. A prescription is not necessary, but within 4 months I could

Warning long post! Hi, hope everyone is well. This So here I approach my 1 year on Benra anniversary. It hasn’t been a smooth ride that’s for sure, and the ride leading up to it was incredibly bumpy. But with the current situation I have had lots of time to reflect a celebrate the milestones, no

Really need help please
Hi I'm really sorry to bother you. But I'm so worried. In January after suffering headaches and blurry eyes and colours seem to go lighter then go back to normal. and a very sore face, neck and shoulders I went to the optician who sent me straight to the emergency Eye clinic. The optician was worried

T3 or not T3
Hi Below are my recent results. I’m on 100mg thyroxine. My T3 is low but it’s higher since I stopped taking the T3... as when I was on it I felt no difference, but I was only on 75mg thyroxine then. I really would like to feel the benefits of T3 that u all describe but I just can’t find the right balance

Information about spinal cord compression.
Has anyone experienced a spinal cord compression or fracture? Can you share your experiences. Has anyone experienced what it means to prevent one. We know that getting an MRI to show the urgency of treatment is one thing and then the mention of surgery. We don't know what that means. Who handles this

ABLATION +2 YEARS + COVID JAG
Just had my Covid jag, completely painless, a minor scratch and that was it. Unfortunately the lead up to the Jag was not so good, when I had passed the 2 booths verifying my eligibility/conditions etc I felt like I was going to get a lethal injection as both explained in great detail the potential side

TEN WHOLE MILES!!!
Unbelievably, I have managed to run 10 miles this morning! After accidentally stopping 500m short a couple of weeks ago (tragic! ☹️), I was determined to get out today and finish the job! Started well, did the 1st half with a friend, then I had to get myself back on higher ground to finish off. Nearly
