I saw a consultant in the UK a month or so ago and explained that my transition from Mirapexin to Pregabalin was not going well. At that time, I was taking 150mg Pregabalin and 4 x 0.088 Mirapexin and that at that level i was getting some relief but that any reduction from that in the Mirapexin left

Paxlovid or not?
Hi, sorry for another covid post but I’d value your thoughts… My question: Anyone out there with CLL had covid recently and not used antivirals and recovered ok? Background: I’m down with covid for the third time in 18months… the first time (Feb 22) I wasn’t yet diagnosed with CLL and rode it

Latest Endo visit.... bit weird 😕 When all seems lost just say NO 😉
Started with being told I would have to drop my dose as not happy with TSH 0.05 talked all about this (T4 48% T3 95%) risk of heart and bone damage blah blah..... I pointed out that we had tried that before and it didn't go well for me... threatened to cut me loose if I didn't reduce! Continued to bang

Still waiting for over 3 weeks for urgent appointment
3 weeks ago, after several hours in A&E, I was told that I need an urgent appointment with my cardiologist. At that time, I was also just about to complete an urgent 7 day holter test. I rang my cardiologist's secretary on the next working day to request an emergency appointment as instructed to do by

covid (any benefit to azithromycin)
I posted at the weekend about hoping to secure anti virals as I had a significant exposure to covid. As expected I did get covid & feel very ill now. As also expected it’s unlikely I’ll get Paxlovid, despite some strong words with my less than competent GP. She has sent across a script for Azithromycin

Great video on healing a "leaky gut" and I found this probiotic to be the best deal on Amazon!
For myself ... I believe my PD-like symptoms is from my "leaky gut". And, fortunately after more than 2 years of self-diagnosis --- my various symptoms are still very, very, very mild. My neuro/MDS is Dr. Bozo who said after my exam: [i]"The good news is that you don't have Parkinson. The bad news

Lifestyle changes for fertility
Hi all! We've had 3 failed icsi so far, now embarking on private. It's more of a moan and looking for reassurance that this is normal to feel this way. We have finally got more answers and sense in one consultation then 3 years nhs. They suggested Mediterranean diet, certain supplements to help. I have

Problematic mucous & dry cough ..
Hello, Dad's cough is now pretty mucousy, and dry at the same time. Both are frustrating/aggravating for him, in different ways. For the mucous part - we try to do some mild chest tapping to encourage it out & I know that drinking good amounts of water is good for that too. Any

Cold water!
I went swimming for the first time yesterday since my diagnosis of PAF 18 months ago. I'm on holiday in France at the moment. It was an outdoor pool and it's hot here so the water felt really cold. I went in waist deep and then ducked under. I swam for a few metres then realised I was in AF. I guess

Long Term Hematospermia
Hey, I have been suffering since dec 19 with Hematospermia. I done many tests, including a biopsy in jul 20, and PSA tests along the way. Took a very strong antibiotic, which messed up my digestive system, making it slower than it was. Anyway, this this has still not disappeared. It's not painful. Is
