Living with PBC for 16 years.
Still going strong after 16 years. First abnormal blood test in Australia in 2006 although not diagnosed until I returned to the U.K. in 2010. I have been on Ursodeoxycholic Acid since then. I get tired but try to go to bed early and as now retired have the benefit of being able to get up when I like

*Sensitive* - 5th transfer update
Hi all I've been a little quiet on here with my own updates as I have been wrapping my mental health in cotton wool a little after the rollercoaster of our last transfer attempts and miscarriage last year. But I just wanted to share some good news (as I don't often get to!). I'm also really sorry if

Is that normal blood pressure be higher than normal in B12 deficiency ?
My blood pressure increased soon after my severe neurologic symptoms started l. I have bad muscle weakness and numbness in arms and eyesight problems. Its challenging for me to walk. Too much pressure I feel during walking or standing and sweat like a rain. My blood pressure was 14.9 over 9.8 today.

Fibromyalgia In PD And Some Potential Relief
Fibromyalgia (FM) is slightly more common in people with PD and FM can cause all over body pain that moves around and can affect tissues, joints and muscles. This group of people with PD and FM are more likely to get dementia and have worse symptoms. FM can cause painful flare-ups at random times, but

Does yeast infection diet really work, or it is a loss of time? (vaginal)
I am interested in personal experiences with this diet. I am kind of desperate. It's been almost 8 months of treatment and although there is an improvement with boric acid, it is not totally cured. I also use organic propolis, C vitamin, omega 3, cranberry supplements, probiotics, D vitamin. Has anyone

My top sleep aid right now
Just wanted to share about what helps me most at the moment. Sleep is so important for us. The website is www.nothingmuchhappens.com (I listen in the Audible app) and it's billed as 'bedtime stories for grownups'. In fact it is more than that - it's a kind of brain training. The stories are simple

Is anyone here boosting their plasmalogen levels?
I've watched several interviews with biochemist Dayan Goodenowe PhD (https://drgoodenowe.com/) where he discussed increasing plasmalogen levels to prevent Alzheimer's and other dementias. He mentioned that higher plasmalogen levels also help in Parkinson's by improving function in dopaminergic neurons

Hey all! I’ve been battling many deficiencies for a long time. Last year while taking glutathione, all of my memories disappeared, and I was completely numb. No emotions, no memories, no thinking, difficulty in making new memories, no awareness, altered consciousness etc. My nervous system was shutting

IGF-I & Mortality
New study below [1]. The insulin axis is rarely talked about but is very important IMO. Even back in 2004 there were a lot of insulin-like growth factor-I [IGF-I] studies. Currently 556 hits on PubMed for <prostate "IGF-I">. But who reads them? I have learned to beware of anything with "growth factor

Tips Between Egg Collection & Transfer
Hi everyone, I had my egg collection on Thursday and we’ve got 5 fertilised. All being well, transfer should be Tuesday. I’m just wondering if there’s any tips, diet, supplements, activities I should be doing between now and Tuesday? I’ve read so much but now I’m here, I can’t remember half of it. I
