Hi. My partner has been prescribed this following his transplant. It is to do with dissolving gallstones and reducing sludge. As far as I know it has nothing to do with reducing itching. I don't know of anything that does that effectively I'm afraid. But others may have some suggestions. Have you been prescribed it for that purpose? Of course, you should discuss with your doctor or medical team. Best wishes, K.

I was prescribed this for itchiness and was warned that it may make the itching worse which in my case it did.I now use DermaCool 5% for itchy skin. Hope this helps.

I was given it as part of the “throw everything in, even the kitchen sink” approachto my treatment at the time. Don’t recall it doing anything with my itching one way or the other.
