Lupus and Heart Disease: Why You’re at Increased Risk
That might mean taking a statin (cholesterol-lowering drug), low-dose
aspirin
, and/or blood pressure medication. When in doubt, go for extra testing “Lupus patients who don’t appear to be high risk may also benefit from a closer look,” says Dr. Baker.

Is Itching a side effect of high T3 low T4?
The only other thing to change is stopping
aspirin
due to divecutitus . Could this have been suppressing my itching ? My levels are T3 / 5.6 T4/ 1.3 TSH / 0.05 I just need this itching to stop so any help advise greatly received.

I am taking beta blockers,
aspirin
and statins for mild mitral regurgitation and had extensive tests over the past few years all of which have come back normal.......it wasn't a nice experience, but at least Ime still here. Thanks...

ET and Covid Risk
I know it’s because we have a blood cancer but what are the actual risks from Covid if we have ET which is well controlled with Hydroxy and
Aspirin
? Is it blood clots? Wondering if anyone knows what current research tells us now that we are nearly two years into the pandemic.

APS and balance
Hi, I have suspected APS as I have had high Igg Cardiolipin for 12 months now, 2 previous miscarriages. I am having severe balance issues. I’m off balance every time I walk, my movements are also affected. For instance, washing my hands makes my head go funny - best way to describe it is my brain feels

Vasculitis vs arteriosclerosis, getting pregnant after a CABG and statin/diet questions!
Hi! I’m 34 and have just had a CABG, I’m 6 weeks post op and feel almost back to normal. Yes, I know, I’m young and have bounced! They think that my coronary arteries were damaged by vasculitis I (might) have had when I was 19, it wasn’t diagnosed at the time as I had just classic viral symptoms although

Besremi approved. Not what?
Since then I've only had phlebotomies and taken
aspirin
. I've had no issues or challenges other than low ferritin which I believe contributed to my fatigue. I immediately upon dx began educating myself on treatment options and possible cures.

Palpitations and Magnesium
Has anyone already on heart meds (I'm on atorvastatin,
aspirin
, ramipril and amlodipine) tried taking it for that purpose? I've suffered from them for many years, starting long before my HA but they have gotten a lot worse recently.

5 weeks 3 days and bleeding
I restarted the Clexane and baby
aspirin
again yesterday and lo and behold, this morning I had dark brown blood on the pantyliner and pink when wiping. I was so dizzy when getting up from the loo and had an extreme bout of nausea, both which settled down when I lied down.

Aspirin
I also read that US doctors took a different view and advised taking
aspirin
. Does anyone know what the latest state of play on this is?

Sudden change of management
I’ve been managed on daily
aspirin
all this time. Honestly, I’ve hardly thought about my condition all these years. I’ve been monitored every 3 or 4 months, and sent on my way. I’ve been generally very healthy (no other medications) and fit (sports and gym).

Breathlessness - is it heartburn?
I had thought it was heartburn and I have been taken off
aspirin
and put on Clopidogrel. An endoscopy also showed no problems with my gut. If I drink alcohol whilst feeling this way the symptoms go very quickly. The GTN spray doesn't have any effect .
