Experiences with

Aspirin

On statins, aspirin, clopidogrel and omeprazol. Looking at my digestive system to see if any cause there....I think its my statins bur that's the last thing they want to change. Anyone else in the same boat?

I’ve just been reading another post about aspirin and blood thinners and it made me realise that the old saying about people who are cold having “thin blood” could be true. Since I’ve been on the usual cocktail of heart meds for a year I’m always cold.

Have sore tummy taking any meds but consultant wants me to retry aspirin so bought some soluable ones but they dont really disolve much so anyone know of a good one ,enteric coated just dont work for me

Has anyone experienced anaemia from taking aspirin and blood thinners please? . My blood levels have dropped and it’s only occurred in the past few months since I have restarted taking aspirin.

Is it possible to test for APS whilst taking aspirin 75mg and Clopidogrel 75mg or will these meds affect the outcomes of the tests? My Rheumatologist says they will affect the results and I will test negative for APS, my Cardiologist says they won't.....

Ticagrelor 90mg, Atorvastatin 80mg, Lansoprazole 30mg or dispersible aspirin. I am 7 months into taking medication after my stent and everything was fine until about 3 weeks ago. Now my digestive system is uncomfortable every day.

I immediately started on aspirin and venesection (5 in 2 weeks) After the 5th venesection I was Hg 14.1 and HCT 0.442. I also had a BMB done end March. My next appointment was a telephone consultation which I had bloods done prior to the call 19th May - Hg 13.9 and HCT 0.456.

But ill be treated for the aps during this pregnancy with heparin and aspirin. I'm just very anxious and looking for anyones success stories after being diagnosed in the next pregnancy. Thankyou

Eg Beta Blockers, aspirin, clopydodryl. Statins... ETc. We know that's to promote optimum health but apart from saying, he'll probably have another attack , how can I explain this in a more relatable and specific cause and effect way? Any one had to do this before?

I am 57 years old with CALR Essential Thrombocythemia, taking aspirin only. I am suffering from a lot of night sweats and hot flashes. My doctor said I should avoid Hormone Replacement Therapy due to the increased risk of blood clots. However, I see that others on this forum are doing HRT.

My rhuematologist once said I shouldn't take aspirin while on methotrexate, but if I had to, I could take one. Same question for cough medicine.

I was therefore started on Prasugrel (antiplatelet med) in addition to the 75mg daily aspirin I was already taking. They then found I have a moderately leaky aortic valve. Being a 44yr old female at the time of the stent, still very much having regular menstrual cycles.

HISTORY: Diagnosed with PV 4 years ago; JAK2 positive with very low erythropoeitin; I am now 64 years old; Only phlebotomy and aspirin for 4 years until Besremi in Feb 2022. Most concerning before Besremi was platelets of 1100. Allele Burden was 70% before Besremi.

After the stent, was put on daily aspirin, an anti-platelet drug Prasugrel, Atorvastatin, Propranolol, Omeprazole. Was already on Thyroxine. So due to symptoms, had blood tests done on 26/5. Hadn’t heard anything so called my GP Surgery earlier. They said my Ferritin level is low at 5.
