I’ve just started taking Ocaliva. I’ve been more fatigued than normal this week. Has anyone else found this ?

I never really noticed any extra fatigue. I have been on since summer and havent noticed any changes really

I was on Ocaliva for a year about five years ago. It did nothing to help my ALP levels drop so was taken off and took Bezofibrate instead. Within 3 months my levels dropped by 100 to within normal range. Still on it today and still within normal.

Thank you for your reply. I’m glad your levels improved. I’ve only been on this for just over a week , so we’ll see what happens. It’s good that there’s more drugs to try for PBC now

I have been on Ocaliva since the FDA approved the drug. My ALP levels started dropping slowly and are now within normal range. I have not experienced any adverse reactions, but everyone is different. Please talk to your Doctor

JaneEyre I haven't noticed any difference in my numbers yet after two blood tests. I have another next month and if they dont go down will look at next steps. I am only on5mg dose and they talked of doubling it . Were you on the 5 or 10 mg dose?

Hi have been started in 5 mg too, they do plan to increase it to 10 mg later
