Red Light Therapy - Feedback/discussion
Have been doing Red Light Therapy for my mother since 45 days. Make her wear a hat fitted with red light (670nm wavelength) for 20 minutes, immediately followed by near infra-red light (850nm wavelength) for another 20 minutes, totally for 40 minutes in a session - once in the morning and then once

Atenolol once or twice daily ?
My cardiologists has suggested I change my 50mg Atenolol daily dose (mornings) to 25mg twice a day. I have been taking the one dose for well over 30 years for the treatment of mild hypertension but since the onset of PVCs he says taking the same dosage twice daily could help with the ectopic beats. Anybody tried Alivecor heart monitor ?
I suffer from night time palpitations which I have had for over 4 years now. I have has every test under the sun including heart scans, ecg's, angiogram and calcium scoring and much more. The general opinion from my consultant is that I have benign PVC'S but 3 different halter monitors have proved inconclusive

New here - experiencing quadrigeminy, trigeminy and bigeminy
Hi, 49 year old woman here with a history of PVC's my entire adult life. They used to be very intermittent, I'd get an episode or 2 a day lasting a few minutes to an hour for a few months, then nothing for a year, etc. I was told not to worry about it and didn't. Now it's been worsening over 3 years

How long have you had afib?
I have para afib for three years. Cryo ablation in March of 2019. Don’t know why but been having lots of PVCs lately. Worried afib is gonna come back. My afib always started after having PVCs. I hate PVCs because they take my breath away right when I’m in the middle of something.

Flecainide of beta blockers?
I've got PVCs, 24% of all beats at the last halter. Was prescribed 50mg Flecainide twice a day. It s not working now, started feeling the fast/extra hard beats again. I have an appetite my EP next week. Should I agree to increase the dose of flecainide (which is what I think he'll suggest) or ask to

Has anyone here been referred for a cardiac MRI and a stress test to determine the source of their ectopic beats ? This is what the electrophysiologist suggested yesterday when I went to see him after been referred to him by my cardiologist. To be honest I left the clinic a bit disappointed as he was

No PVCs if I exercise regularly. Taking Flecainide. Why do they go away when I exercise?
I have been diagnosed with PVCs. On my halter, 24% of all beats were PVCs. My cardiologist said this was very high. He recommended ablation, but the idea of this scared the hell out of me, so he prescribed 50mg twice a day of Flecainide. The weird thing is, if I run for 30 mins every other day, I don't

Advice with best med for ectopics.
Been taking Atenolol 50mg for 27 years now for mild hypertension but since about a month or so ago I have started having PVCs on a daily basis. An ecogram showed a completely normal heart and subsequent holter test revealed about 3% premature beats but three different cardiolgists all say they same that

Can anyone explain what this may have been?
I’m 28. Normal BMI. Had one bout of afib that went to Normal Sinus Rhythm on its own. ECG at the Hospital caught it. I have slightly high BP. Echocardiogram was normal. That was in March. Now Fast forward the other week I was driving and I had drank a Medium coffee (my usual in the morning) My heart

New to Afib
I’ve had PVCs for years but lately have had new symptoms which could be Afib. I was woken in the night by a strong, rhythmic flapping sensation in my heart, together with a racing heartbeat. The flapping was very distinct, like a bird’s wings, and went on for a few seconds, maybe a minute. Does this

Anxiety and PVCs
I get occasional PVCs , but anxiety throughout the day, maybe one panic attack a week, where my heart races for 5 minutes or so. Is this a dangerous situation, as in is there a chance the high heart rate will cause PVCs that lead to arrest?

Help with PRD
Thirteen years after I was given pelvic radiation following various operations following kidney cancer, I developed what I thought was a vicious diarrhoea. It continued into kidney failure and a diagnosis of Crohn's disease. Finally it turned out to be PRD, Nothing helped - until a new gastroenterologist

What is this called? Is it dangerous?
Context: Healthy, fit, 20 yr old male So I've had PVCs my whole life, seen doc about it and there are some irregularities with my heart but nothing immediately threatening (I've had no treatment but am supposed to get yearly checkups). Yesterday, I had basically a string of PVCs that was a little scary

Does anyone have a real issue coping?
So I’ve been having some issues with NSVT (not SVT- thats atrial this is ventricle) I have also had issues with atrial tachycardia, excessive PACS so much so the loop recorder read it as AFIB, PVCs and inappropriate sinus tachycardia. Now obviously the NSVT is the one that worries me the most-since it
