No, no, no, the heart?!
Hello again peeps. I've been doing pretty well until now, but I've been hit hard by symptoms again. I've got an echo coming up next week, but I'm very worried so I need some pre-test advice please. As you can probably tell from the title of my post, I'm worried to no end! I have an echo coming up

Dirty Weekend!
Boy have I got down and filthy dirty this weekend, and loved every single minute of it! Saturday morning was spent helping hubby cut up and bag the lopped part of my Cherry Tree. Hubby who normally does so much is still experiencing almost total role reversal, and I am loving it, whilst from time to

11 days since my discharge from the Royal Brompton, London for 10 days of IV's and drips for my Brittle Asthma. And since I have been home have made it a rule not to spend so much time in Cyber World, 10 days of breathing space (sorry no pun intended) gave me plenty of time to realise how little of

Am an oldie on here by sounds of things in relation to how long have had pbc!
I was diagnosed in 2002 with pbc having suffered the symptoms of it namely horrendous itch, fatigue and joint pains, the worst of these for me being the itch. I have had the itch to a greater and lesser degree day and night (worse at night) for the past 11 almost 12 yrs. On the whole I learnt

Is there anyone on here who has had pbc for more than 10yrs, suffered with the itch but never been on urso?
I have suffered with the dreaded itch for 11yrs and have been on urso all this time (apart from first 3 months of my pregnancy 6 yrs ago). Suntan Sea and ICU
I had come home from a wonderful 2 week holiday in Spain with my wife. I felt refreshed and relaxed ready for the working months ahead. With the aim to earn enough to pay the bills and think of where to go next year for our holiday. At least that was the plan and like most well laid plans, things

Litebook Elite Lamp
Today's Sunday Mail carries a report in the health section about the above lamp. This review specifically states that use of this lamp, which is not cheap, 'can reduce the symptoms of Parkinsons'. It also says that a study conducted in Germany found that 'light therapy significantly improved tremors

Progressive symptoms - B12 deficient but not PA, where to go for help?
After endless visits to the GP surgery over a period of four years I was finally diagnosed by a locum with B12 deficiency and admin life long injections. Although, they state I am not PA they appear to be uninterested in finding the underlining cause. For the past 12 months my symptoms are progressive
