I think I have pvc’s ?!
Been on a spiral for the past month because all of a sudden I began to get these irregular heartbeats. It started off when I was running in September and ever since then I have gotten them at least 3 times everyday. I’m in avid runner 20 yes old and have been healthy all my life. I don’t know if it’

PVCs more during night and rest than during day?
Why am I mostly fine in the day but they crop up at night or at rest, sitting down etc.? Is there a particular posture I should adopt at night in bed?

Recovering from COVID
Both my husband and I contracted COVID after nearly 2 years of being really, really careful and no arrythmias. Inevitably it put me into AF and PVC’s - on my 3rd bout this morning. The first 2 only lasted about 3-6 hours but were very symptomatic with near syncope if I try an upright position. The

Health Anxiety - It will create physical symptoms!!!
I guess it all started about 10 years ago. At the time I was a fairly new firefighter/paramedic. Saw all kinds of bad stuff, cancer, emphysema, heart attacks you name it. Without going in to too much detail let me just say that since 2010 I have self diagnosed (thanks to Mr. Google and my anxious mind

Getting through airport security with the Coronet light therapy
I am flying domestically (US) in a couple of weeks and internationally to London in November. I want to take my Coronet with me but think it is will get squished if packed in a suitcase for checked luggage, so I am considering carrying on. Does anyone have experience going through airport security

Looking back 😀
Hello everyone on here. I hope everyone’s had a great Monday and a great past weekend. As I lay down here at home and reflect on the day I had, I must say it was a good day. For the most part, my depressions really elevated in the mornings. Yesterday I purchased a small notebook, and I wrote on

Anyone on Cholesterol Meds
Hi! I have an appointment with the cardiologist tomorrow. I have a history of A-Fib and PVCs and take meds for that. My cholesterol and triglycerides are high and have been for a long while. My former GP didn't want to add any more meds and was concerned about the side affects. My new GP who is very

Rhinitis and uncontrolled asthma
I have had uncontrolled asthma recently, I'm on symbicort 200/6, montelukast 10mg and also have bad rhinitis to the point I can barely breathe through one nostril. Doctor prescribed me flonase which me feel really ill, which is a shame as it cleared my nose. Does anyone else have suggestions of nasal

pillow with built-in HEPA filter for dust mite asthma
Hi all -- Just wanted to share today's project. It's a wacky idea, but who knows, might be useful for someone, as it worked for me. This is to manage dust mite allergy while sleeping (relatively) comfortably. Previously, I was using waterproof camping sacks stuffed with fleece blankets. Inflatable pillows

Plaquenil and possible drug interaction to antibiotics
Hi! Last week I knew something else was off, but it wasn't until Friday, that I knew it was a UTI. Excruciating pain, fever, constant painful trips to the bathroom, etc. and a strip from Amazon showing leucocytes, protein and blood. So Sat. morning went to Express Care. 3 hours later (not so express

Stopping meds
I wanted to see what the effects might be. How soon does the body deteriorate after stopping L-Dopa? I stopped Rytary 9 days ago. I've had two mild bouts of dizziness. And as can be seen on this shopping list my hand writing has gone from bad to worse. I wondered if there might be withdrawal

Crazy PVC when getting up from bed
Does anyone experience PVC mostly upon waking or if you quickly get up from seated position and walk? As soon as I wake up and try to get up my heart goes crazy for about 10 min then is ok. I never had this before I started metoprolol. Switched to calcium channel blocker and was still happening. I’

Thought it was ectopics
Hi everyone, I had an ablation in March this year for AF and after a couple of AF bouts in the 3 month blanking period it has thankfully not returned. Thing is, 2 months after the procedure I started getting daily ectopics, well I think that’s what it is. The skips and the thumping feeling in the chest

Hi everyone…. Not having a good day and just wondering if anyone else feels the way I do. I call this PV an ugly disease because it has taken away all the things that human beings take for granted. I am extremely symptomatic in that I feel and suffer all the symptoms PV has to offer!! Can’t take a 60

Sunlight and red light therapy
I am wondering if it would be beneficial especially for people who don’t have access to a red light hat or similar to go into the sun for a short while each day and face it with eyes closed allowing light into their eyes through their eyelids.
