Appendectomy

Had an appendectomy about a year later, because my appendix were stuck to my ileostomy scar internally. I had pain and went to the hospital, but my surgery wasn’t emergency. I was scheduled about two weeks later for the appendectomy.

In late September that same year, the tummy pain was so severe that i couldn't stand and i was always vomiting even NSAIDs wasn't of any relief, i was rushed to the hospital and had appendectomy that September.

It was 5 years ago , bag for 3 months , successful reversal, then about a year later adhesions from surgeries causing me to have appendectomy . My question is, had anyone had adhesions? I think I have more.

I also drew his attention to the neurological symptom I am really worried about and the risk factors of previous gastrointestinal surgery (appendectomy) and being hypothyroid. The suggestion was that I should continue with the supplements I am taking if they are helping.

Three weeks after the appendectomy, a new sharp pain began; initially it was thought to be related to my surgery.

Have moderate/severe endo & significant adhesions from laps, c - section & appendectomy. Several laps later, mirena, decapeptyl treatment last year & yet here I am back to square 1 but now perimenopausal for real & in a dilemma.

Hi, On 16/3 I had a radical hysterectomy, bilateral oophrectomy, appendectomy and omentum for what histology has now confirmed is stage1a adult type granulosa cell ovarian cancer.

Following my laparotomy surgery last month (total hysterectomy, oophorectomy, appendectomy and omentum biopsy) I got the all clear. My frozen section and final pathology were both seromucinous borderline ovarian tumour stage 1a. Thank goodness for our fabulous NHS.

I am my PCP oldest patient who had an appendectomy and he is no spring chicken! A lot of med insurance has age restrictions for a lot of tests. Besides ignoring PCa ourselves, about the only commercials about it are peddling some medication.

My question is does the "pelvic MRI" cover the abdomen (and including diaphragm, since i also have pain behind left shoulder blade which could be linked to surgery i had in May for appendectomy (where surgeon noted ovarian cysts - thank goodness after not being taken seriously and no sonographer finding

She is due in hospital at the end of this month to have it removed by doing a full Hysterectomy also a appendectomy and a omentectomy also to remove a small section of intestine and some tumours from the top right dome of her diaphragm.

In the last 15 years I have had: an Appendectomy; a Laparoscopy that diagnosed and treated mild endometriosis + adhesions between my ovary and intestine; successful pregnancy; and, an emergency C section.

This necessitated a total hysterectomy and appendectomy, fortunately both tumours were benign. In 2021 I started to have weight gain (not experienced previously) which I’ve not been able to completely lose and some hot flashes.
