Hey guys! So I had initially been referred 5 weeks ago to endometriosis clinic at my local hospital. With ongoing worsening symptoms and not letting myself feel defeated plus an extra trip to a&e my GP sends an expedite letter. I have had a booking confirmed by hospital for 21st January! This is pretty quick right?Fingers crossed for something hopeful 😬🙏🏻 obviously as previously posted I have since February had
*Appendectomy (histology was fine so wasn't even my appendix turned out to be severe kidney infection -apparently- although on my hospital notes it says something completely different so currently waiting on my request for medical records as this has me hospitalised for two weeks severely poorly!)
* 4x hospital admissions for more than one week every time (including treatment for PID (no idea I was even being treated for it until I asked wtf was going on, and no history of STI- they were just guessing by his point - treatment for inflammation on peritoneum and other infections, inflammation markers were severely high..but the didn't know what was causing it)
*Colonoscopy (shows mild diverticulitis)
*MRI of small bowel (clear)
*Transvaginal scan (clear)
*Numerous blood tests (fine)
*2x CT scans
*About 4 different ultrasounds to look at kidneys, abdomen etc
*Urine dips(always clear!)
And spoken to numerous consultants/doctors.
So this is really my last hope, as it were.. funny we say it like that but just to have an answer would be amazing 😭
