Anusol

I was wondering if its ok yo use Anusol suppositories whilst taking heart meds? Im on Bisoprolol, prasugrel, Atorvastatin, Aspirin, Losartan potassium and Amlodipine. Thanks in advance!

I've had a pile for a couple of weeks now I've tried anusol which didn't really do anything apart from I had zero pain .I then started using germoloids which seemed to shrink it or atleast it seemed to go back inside sorry tmi .

bleeding or trouble going to the toilet but I could feel it was there at first I didn't think it was a pile but then I made my poor partner look and then their mother (via picture tmi I know ) who is a nurse and said it is a pile but possibly filled with blood as it is blueish tinge to it and to use anusol

The GP prescribed anusol HC steroid cream which has made no difference whatsoever and neither has OTC creams. I don't really want to keep using steroids either due to the risks to the skin which may compound the issues.

Initially thought it was piles but after Anusol and then steroid suppositories it didn’t stop. I also have other symptoms. Pain in lower left abdomen. Well more of an ache than a pain. I’m fit.

and it's now there for 2 weeks, whenever I use the Anusol next few days there no blood and after stopping anusol in 4 to 5 days again I see blood...

They have got so bad I can barely sit down without discomfort, I have tried everything, anusol, Sitz bath, ice pack. They do not shrink. No bleeding or pain except sometimes at the back , but such discomfort they make me feel nauseas. I have been to docs but was prescribed anusol.

GP has given rectal exam but couldn’t suggest anything other than upping fibre which isn’t helping and using anusol which isn’t helping. My upper abdo consultant is arranging for a BAM test and colonoscopy.

I have tried several treatments such as hemmeroid ointments, tuck cooling pads, anusol suppolisites, and body powder. I also take 2 capsules of Seed every day which is a probiotic. These all have helped somewhat but do not have lasting effects.

Was prescribed ointment but hasn’t helped, also tried anusol suppositories but also has not stopped the bleeding and now bleeding is sometimes also mucusy as well. I’m starting to get concerned it is not hemmroids or can they last for this long?

May be TMI but my bowel symptoms are very similar to haemorrhoids/fissure which I've been told over the phone by my GP I've used anusol where I get flare ups of horrible pain + blood. Does anyone know if this could be linked to my endo still?

of my poop and my stomach has been upsetting lately not having any pain but a feeling of small cut when i use water. i went to hospital and took urine, stool and blood test they came out negative all of them and doctor said i might be having hemorrhoid's and prescribed me with some antibiotics and anusol

Currently taking cetirizine using anusol and body moisturiser soaking skin in lukewarm water but nothing is helping. I don’t know what’s causing it they start to form dry crusts and the blister gets smaller but turns orange then more keep popping up. Any ideas or advice welcomed.

So from Monday they start to come out and they really painful, but this is nothing, in this morning they start bleeding and not stopping at all, so I went to the hospital because I got scared,the doctor told me is nothing they can do about,just to relax,to have a good hygiene and use the Anusol cream

Help. I’m currently on methotrexate and have.a large mouth ulcer. I’ve tried anbesol, bonjela and got cordolsyl mouth wash but nothing seems to shift it. I get a drs prescription is the next thing . Just wondered if any kind person could point me in the next direction. Thanks

I went to the doctors who suspected it to be hemmeroids, I was prescribed Anusol with steroids but this made no difference. The blood is always worse when I have to force a poo which also points to hemmeroids but do the cause diarrhea?

I’ve tried Anusol, Witch Hazel and even garlic! to no avail. Anyone had similar painful experience at this stage in pregnancy, and what did you do to relive the strain? Any suggestions gratefully welcomed xx

I have been using Anusol but that again seems to irritate the fissure.. It seems better when I shower after BM and do nothing regarding oinments. Any thought people or similar experiences.

Anyone used these before? How long before you noticed improvement?
