I found a pile a few weeks back no pain bleeding or trouble going to the toilet but I could feel it was there at first I didn't think it was a pile but then I made my poor partner look and then their mother (via picture tmi I know ) who is a nurse and said it is a pile but possibly filled with blood as it is blueish tinge to it and to use anusol. Well I've been going about my day to day life using this cream twice a day and didn't realise recommendations was 7 days only . Then today my pile has started to hurt out of nowhere hurts to touch / wash etc and to wipe . It hasn't done previously. Any suggestions?

🙂Haemorrhoids ..are very common, in fact many women (if they didn’t have them beforehand) have them due to pushing in childbirth.

It’s possible you may need something stronger than available OTC, something only available on prescription…so it’s in your best interest to speak to your GP.

I think for me it's because I've had it for over 2 weeks no pain now there is pain 😢.

Haemorrhoids…can be very painful, I speak from experience. If you feel reluctant to see your GP because it would lead to an examination..you could speak to a Pharmacist for advice on what preparations to try.

Generally..it’s a case of trial and error, because what suits one person isn’t always best for somebody else.

There’s good advice available via the link..it’s what everybody needs to know about coping with haemorrhoids.

I tried prep h right at the beginning of this ordeal only 2 days then read anusol is better I didn't realise it was only recommended for 7 days I am longer than that .so thought I best stop that as read it thins the lining and I thought I don't want anything worse . It has thrown me why it has started to hurt today after a while where up to then it's been absolutely fine I call it "it lime it's a being 🤣

Are you sure the anusol you have been using contains hydrocortisone. One version does, one doesn't. Only the hydrocortisone one causes thinning of skin.
