I had an MRI to rule out deep endo on my bowels as I have bowel symptoms similar to IBS along with my endo symptoms. The gynae consultant said they would get in touch if they saw anything that required a multi-disciplinary team and I never heard anything about my results?
I've come to conclusion that they didn't find anything but I still have bowel symptoms. May be TMI but my bowel symptoms are very similar to haemorrhoids/fissure which I've been told over the phone by my GP I've used anusol where I get flare ups of horrible pain + blood. Does anyone know if this could be linked to my endo still?

The consultant has a requirement to get back to you with any results and a written report. It's completely unprofessional of him/her to just not tell you anything. Phone up and say yu need a copy of the scan and a full report because you are getting a second opinion and you need it now.
You have no idea whether they have lost it or it hasn't been sent through. I don't think you should assume it's not endo without at least seeing your results.
IF you have endo you will probably have really terrible pain whenever you have a period as well as these other problems if you are getting lots of pin inyour lower stomach and blood etc it could be endo. If they found from the scan that it is not endo then you need to be refered to a colorectal surgeon who can check for problems in the bowel and with your haemorrhoids etc. because it could be something else wrong but you need to get the results of that scan.
You have to psuh doctors and their staff really hard sometimes and always check what they send you and ask for a copy of scans and reports. My endo was picked up on a scan for something else and the doctor was from a different specialism so he ddidn't mention it but it was mentioned right at the end of the written report. Go back and really make a fuss or nothing will get done. The info form the scan the full report and copy of the scan is part of your medical records and yu have every right to see it. I hope they haven't lost it.
Hi, thank you for your reply! Currently trying to chase it as you probably know its terribly hard to get through to the right person. My consultant did say she wouldn’t contact me until the lap unless there was something to report so I’m not too surprised 🙁 But think it would be good to get an update regardless!
