Anti anxiety medication compatible with Restless Legs

I’m struggling to find a compatible anti-anxiety recommendation. A friend with restless legs is in the hospital and they prescribed hydroxyzine for anxiety. I told them they can’t use most antidepressants or sedating antihistamines. I don’t want to suggest benzodiazepines . I’m drawing a blank. Please help.

Clonidine has worked well for me. Good luck. Being in a strange bed especially a hospital bed is no fun with RLS and anxiety.

I take lorazepam when anxiety hits

Not sure what RLS meds your friend is on but I had very bad anxiety where I had to regularly take ‘pams’ (in my case Lorazapam ).

I managed to get a PreGablin prescription for my diagnosed/perceived peripheral neuropathy and this has killed my anxiety dead, no churning stomach, tight neck, headache and no feelings of dread… and worse.

Pregablin is sometimes prescribed for anxiety
