I have not drank alcohol for 5 months now, managed to loss some weight. Had a US scan nov 22 and also back in 2016 both diagnosed a fatty liver. Hello everyone! Hope you guys had an awesome Easter. 🥰 Mine started off slow after hosting an Easter Egg hunt and pageant for the kids at church. I worked hard all week so I was hurting on Easter! However, I managed 2 make it to church! As I type this, I am getting my weekly infusion of vitamins

Valerian can help relax muscles without turning you into a zombie
Doing a search on the muscle relaxant properties of valerian, I found this article which also talks about benefits for insomnia, the digestive system and its GABA content, amongst other things. Although at the end they advertise that they sell tincture, you can ignore that and get it from wherever you

Food allergy & intolerance tests
I’ve done the FODMAP diet & came off several food groups , mainly gluten & lactose , but because my symptoms are very up & down I’ve never managed to reintroduce them . I’m under a nutritionist & on several different herbal supplements for gut dysbiosis , but not seeing any improvement for the IBS -

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in some cases may actually be alcoholic liver disease (ALD).
Perhaps this information has already been published on the forum. It seemed to me very interesting and worthy of attention. Excess fat in the liver cells can accumulate due to chronic poisoning with some substances - and most often this substance is alcohol. But fatty liver disease is very common in

Getting ready to try a neurogenesis protocol.
I think I've got the neuroprotection and neurorehab down pretty well. Next up, neurogenesis... Until recently, neuroscientists believed that the central nervous system, including the brain, was incapable of neurogenesis and unable to regenerate. However, stem cells were discovered in parts of the adult

Herbal supplements for bronchiectasis
Would anyone have any knowledge or views on taking cardamom for lung health. I’m currently soaking 3 pods in warm water a day then squeezing out the seeds and drinking it as have heard this is an ancient herbal remedy to kill bacteria and help with inflammation. I also take echinacea daily but am wondering

Oncology ENT referral
At the end of June (25th) I started to have terrible ear ache. I tested positive for covid a couple of days later. As soon as I was negative, I went to the doctor. My ear canal was incredibly swollen. I got an antibiotic and anti fungal ear spray. It didn’t go away so I got another course of the spray

Recent diagnosis, looking to talk about it to someone who can relate
I was diagnosed just over a month ago, it meant they gave me a prescription for concerta and turned me loose basically. I've been looking through material online and reading through "Driven to Distraction" to learn more about the whole thing but I just feel a bit left alone with it. My partner doesn't
