CLL and CGD
I recently had a CT scan and the results say I have an inherited disease called Chronic granulomatous Disease (CGD) where white blood cell (phagocyte) that usually helps the body fight infections doesn't work properly. As a result, the phagocytes can't protect my body from bacterial and fungal infections

Vaginal itch, thrush?
my GP prescribed an oral anti fungal medication (Flu….?) but I noticed when reading the blurb that it shouldn’t be taken by anyone over 60. I am 66 and wondering why this is so? I have taken a Canesten combi treatment in the past couple of months but the itch has returned. Can someone enlighten me

Fluconozale
Does anyone know anything about the use of this anti-fungal ( fluconozale) that helps with the absorption of ibrutinib or venetoclax ? It seems like it means you can reduce the dosage by about 1/3. This is really important for those who are self funding. Some specialists are prescribing it here in NZ

My Current Stack (what is in yours?)
This is my latest stack. My goal over the last 18 months here is to develop a stack that somewhat made sense to me and then to stick with it and stop bouncing around. I feel like I am pretty close to being there. Of course it is all a crap shoot and a good amount of hopium. I have not been diagnosed

2 rounds of ICSI both low fertilisation and failed
Hi, I am hoping someone will have similar experience and be able to advise. We had our first ICSI in 2020, we were told to do ICSI as my husbands morphology was low. I’ve had a fertility check were they deemed everything was ok with me, tubes fine and good AMH for my age - I am 34 now. We went straight

https://jikm.or.kr/m/journal/view.php?number=5127 I have never heard of this 'supplement' but this research article suggests it helped an Indonesian man suffering RLS because of kidney disease. As only one person is mentioned in the trial, it's not ideal, but as we know, if you are desperate and nothing

Supplement danger awareness regarding kidney disease
II first found the Kidney Disease Foundation website when I was wondering if CKD is reversible. My primary care doctor ,an internal medicine doctor, says it is not reversible. I wanted to double check that just in case there have been new discoveries in kidney disease reseearch. Then I saw an article

New meds
Hi all, We have just been swapped to Medikinet XL 5mg a day. Does anyone have any experience with this medication? We were on Tranquilin 2.5mg twice a day and only saw a 10% difference in the symptoms. We had almost zero side effects from it and considered ourselves very lucky. Now I am really worried

Blood results were doing down slowly but last test, last week GGT & alp went up. I have had flu last week .. do you think this could affect the liver function

Underneath the Smile!
Hello everyone! Hope you guys had an awesome Easter. 🥰 Mine started off slow after hosting an Easter Egg hunt and pageant for the kids at church. I worked hard all week so I was hurting on Easter! However, I managed 2 make it to church! As I type this, I am getting my weekly infusion of vitamins

Valerian can help relax muscles without turning you into a zombie
Doing a search on the muscle relaxant properties of valerian, I found this article which also talks about benefits for insomnia, the digestive system and its GABA content, amongst other things. Although at the end they advertise that they sell tincture, you can ignore that and get it from wherever you
