please could anyone let me know if they have heard anything about taking cardamom for lung health. I’ve been told it is an ancient herbal remedy that promotes good lung health so am having the seeds from a few pods in warm water daily. I am also taking echinacea daily for my immune system but have also read it is not good to take this long term. Could anyone please advise

Thank you x

I love cardamon and add the ground seeds to rice every week. I believe it is a good herb for lungs as it's anti bacterial. I just love the flavour and it is very warming. I have never made it into tea but that sounds nice. I think our immune system needs as much help as possible this time of the year with vitamin d, c and zinc. Unfortunately I can't take echinacea as it interacts with my immune suppressant drug but you could try asking your pharmacist for advice.
