Im on 3 going to 2,5 mg pred. My tongue has been sore for the past 3 years of PMR. My pcp doc gave me an antifungal to clear up the coated tongue which worked fine but the tip of my tongue is inflamed and occasionally I see a tiny whit spot. My lower lip always feels irritated but not chapped. Is this the PMR or prednisone or tooth paste . Never had these issues until PMR.

Sounds like it could be burning tongue syndrome:

and scroll all the way down - it doesn't stop at "when to see a doctor"!
If you are continuously seeing a tiny white spot have you talked to your dentist about it?
