Polymyalgia or fibromyalgia?
I had a bad chest infection and adthma flare that took two sets of steroids and
antibiotics
and high dose steroid inhaler to resolve. Within a week of coming off the medication l became aware very quickly of my thighs, lower back and shoulders and neck being stiff and sore.

asthma & respiratory illnesses
Whenever I get any form of respiratory illness it goes straight to my chest and I need steroids and
antibiotics
and have asthma exacerbations not really attacks. Since catching covid in 2022 I’ve started having asthma attacks whenever I get a chest infection which I’ve informed my GP of.

Newly diagnosed
I will need to have vaccines and
antibiotics
close for the rest of my days with no spleen. I'm terrified about all of this and how it is going to change my life.

A CAUTIONARY TALE
Feeling a bit better today(Wednesday) I had heard on the news that some supermarkets were selling frozen Polish chickens that had been injected with
antibiotics
for some reason or other so I had a look on ASDA’s website & guess what, my chicken is POLISH.I am usually so careful scrutinizing ingredients

Day 4 of
antibiotics
with review at day 5. Still coughing loads when I get out of bed and my arms look like two pin cushions. Bored and little sleep but I know I am the right place.

Has anyone gone in to Hospital for elective IV's?
My days are gone where I can take oral
antibiotics
and have to rely on IV's. I also worry that when you really need them, your body will be immune to them. Looking forward to hearing your views and hopefully experiences of this. Stay safe. Linda

Doctor says T3 is unnecessary
Apparently I should have started treatment in 2014 after repeated infections and a blood test showed my thyroid was low, but the doctor just gave me
antibiotics
. It seems to be getting worse. I try to fight it with exercise and eating healthily.

Size of submucosal fibroid - mm or cm?
I thought these symptoms were due to a recent BV infection causing PID/Endometritis, for which I've just finished taking
antibiotics
. I got the ultrasound results back the next day, which was unexpected, as I was told it would take around a week.

Peak Flow Down After Chest Infection
I got
antibiotics
and am feeling a lot better, but my peak flow is still down. I normally have a PF of 410ish. I've been between 270-320 all week. I was taking my reliever as instructed before I went to the doctors, and when I went they changed my asthma plan. However, I'm still low.

Biologics
They’re saying the high doses of inhaled steroids are the cause of my infections, but I’m colonised with pseudomonas and have nebulised
antibiotics
to keep under control.

Me again
He said this seems to have gone well and they've put him on stronger
antibiotics
, 3rd lot to try to clear his infection. Tomorrow morning they'll start to reduce the amount of sedation and hopefully in a few days we may see some improvement.

Esomeprazole and metoclopramide
This has been a problem that when not taking
antibiotics
back it comes. My questions are from your experience, should I start the double esomeprazole and metoclopramide in the hope it might help? My instinct is perhaps to try one at a time.

Question about CLL & intestinal yeast/Candida
Since taking several strong
antibiotics
, I've had bad diarrhea/gas/bloating. I'm convinced the cause is Candida/yeast/fungus. Why? I was advised to eat an anti-Candida diet and take 3-4 tablespoons of coconut oil in the morning and after a week, digestion became normal!
