Antibiotics!
Since being at the dentist for a gum abscess, I’ve had a course of
antibiotics
which is hellish. I’m suffering with side effects until Tuesday night so treadmill workouts are on hold till then. Unfortunately, we don’t appreciate health until we lose it!!!!

How long does it take!
I was discharged from hospital a week ago with another VAC box and
antibiotics
! My recovery seems to be taking so long, has anyone else experienced this and got any tips on how to cope.

GP provided 3 days of
antibiotics
for chest infection which did not help. I took him to a&E one evening when he couldn't lay flat and was struggling to breathe, on checking his stats, his HR was 167.

After my hip operation: PMR quiet (thank goodness) while everything else goes mad
First I had a very stubborn bout of cellulitis in my lower leg (where I’ve had it before) which only shifted after 3 weeks of 3 different
antibiotics
; but the worst and most long-lasting thing is that I seem to have become intolerant of something which gives me urticaria (very irritating nettle rash)

Got worse & worse and because it didn’t start as a cold I didn’t seek
antibiotics
until much later (I’m still all abit more to this). I was continuing to do airway clearance, but on one occasion I may have overdone it & it felt like something changed.

Recurrent chest infections.
After 2 weeks of it not shifting and coughing up dark sputum and having sats at around 90, I was put on intravenous
antibiotics
for 2 weeks. I was slowly starting to feel better but after I finished the course my oxygen started to fall again.

tooth extraction - Pred increase?
This is my first tooth extraction for some 15 years and my biggest molar (which has cracked) which caused an infection, now on
antibiotics
for 5 days. Should I increase my Steroids for a few days?

Missed MTX dose..
hi this is my first time missing a dose as I’m on
antibiotics
for an infection. I was supposed to have my dose on Tuesday. I’m only on 20mg. Last night I couldn’t sleep due to the pain in my legs. They were so achey and tight and stiff. They drove me mad.

surgery
I guess the primary risk would be infection and types of anesthesia and
antibiotics
..? Is anyone familiar with this? My primary care doc said one of the greatest risk is throwing a clot, and with my slightly low platelets (130’s-140’s) would be in my favor. Any information is most welcome.
