Final Transfer: Should I carry my final embryos after recurrent miscarriage or should my same-sex partner do it?
The title says it all really! After initially being told we couldn't do reciprocal IVF mid-treatment, our clinic have now said that we can. I've got through 3 embryos so far which have all resulted in early miscarriages/chemical pregnancies (two at 4 weeks and one at 5 weeks). I've just turned 33 with

Child proton pump inhibitor use may increase asthma risk.
To our knowledge, this is the first study to evaluate the relationship between PPI use and the subsequent risk of asthma. We identified a significant risk of asthma among patients using PPIs when compared to the non-PPI population after matching by propensity score and adjusting for age, gender, comorbidities

AMH & ICSI/IVF Split
Morning everyone, Sorry if this is something that has been asked a lot, we had our initial consultation yesterday and my AMH came back at 37.2 (I’m 30 years old) is this a good figure? Also we’ve decided to proceed with IVF but the consultant mentioned having IVF/ICSI split. Anyone had experience of

Egg retrieval done. So depressed.
Egg retrieval done yesterday. In the scan I had 11 on the left and 8 on the right. The doctor even said that I have many. When I woke up, I had a shock of my life when the nurse said they only collected 7. It took me some time to register the info. Where did the other 13 go?? I'm only 33 this year and

I am looking for any women that have experience with IVF particularly following issues with fertility following chemotherapy.
So I recently went to have the Covid vaccine - yay! However my partner and I have been trying to conceive for the last 14 months with no success. I have a fairly low AMH level so time is limited. I will have to stop trying to conceive for three months following the second dose of the vaccine so in reality

ET mental impact/symptoms
Hello to all. I am a 49y.o. male, diagnosed with ET (JAK2+) about a month ago (January 2021). Platellets have been relatively stable over 450k (460k-503k) for at least 7yrs now, but otherwise healthy, fit, calm and not taking any medication, so my GP never said that this could be an indication of something

Tips for slow follicle growth?
Hey! I’m on my second IVF cycle and just had my second stims scan. Although my lining looks good and is thickening there wasn’t much change in the 5 follicles that were there on Wednesday so I have to carry on with stims and go back for another scan on Monday. Any tips that might help get things growing

I need advise, would appreciate any feedback...
Hello everyone, I started my IVF journey last year (age 42) and we finally did our egg retrieval last week. I had good AMH for my age (11.2), good number of follicles (14) with high stims and we only ended up with 4 eggs. Out of the 4 eggs, one fertilised and survived till day 5 (quality 3BC). We are

One follicle and considering egg retrieval .. any successes?
Hi, so I have low amh and high FSH and have only ever had a maximum of three follicles after stimulation. This time I have one and we are considering going in for egg retrieval for just the one. Any success stories with just one? I feel like we are doing all this for nothing.

Hi, I hope you don't mid me posting this. I'm 23 and have been having some trouble now for over a year and a half and I feel no closer to managing pain or knowing what is wrong. I have been on the pill since I was 13 for horrendous periods that were causing me to miss school. Since then I have been on
