I am due to have my consultation with the surgeon this month to go through consent forms and to discuss IVF protocols.
I am unexplained, sorry we are unexplained, my AMH is slightly low for my age at 32 its 15 and my FSH is slightly high at 10.2.
My partners sperm is tip top, no concerns.
But in the 2 years plus of trying we have never ever been pregnant.
I am looking for some facts and an idea of what my percentage is conceiving. We have decided to use the NHS fresh and frozen cycle and to pay for 1 private cycle (if any of this is needed) and then thats it.
Also are the ladies who have been in the same situation as me who can shed some light.
TIA
Stay safe!

Hi, I was in a similar boat to you - unexplained with slightly low amh (I was 30 and it was measured around 10 from memory). I was told based on age it would be 50% chance of success but I did go two rounds with no success before actually falling pregnant naturally last month.
Your clinic will start to suggest other tests you can do as you go through your ivf cycles if you end up being unsuccessful (ERA, genetic testing etc) and you can also look to have a laparoscopy done (I decided not to as I thought it would take too much time out from trying and they couldn’t see any issues of endo etc in any of my scans)
Everyone does react differently to different protocols, for me I did short protocol first but had 12 collected, 5 mature and 3 fertilised (2 made it to blast) on my second cycle we did the long protocol which worked much better and o had 20 collected, 14 mature, 10 fertilised and ended up 8 blasts (of varying quality)
