DHEA and Melatonin
Hiya again. I’m very two minded about these two supplements. The clinic suggested I could take them without any testing and I read that it might not be a good idea for everyone to take DHEA. My AMH was around 17 a year back so I’m not sure if taking these will just improve my egg quality without any

Going abroad but can only do a short protocol. Any experience with short protocol?
Hi everyone. After 4 failed transfers with top grade embryos, I’m planning to go abroad for embryo banking next month to see if I get any good blastocysts (due to work I’m not able to go for long durations) I’ve been on two icsi long protocols in the past and first one they only got one C grade embryo

Feeling so poorly after egg collection - like trapped wind
Hey, I had an egg collection on Monday, I have low AMH so only 7 eggs retrieved. I know it’s only been a couple of days, but I’m feeling dreadful. I feel quite sick, but the worst is that I am literally bloated like a football and my upper stomach is incredibly sore and bloated too. I just wondered

4th failed cycle - where to go now?
Hello, I have just had another fail, this being my 4th IVF cycle and don't know where to go from here. Is it time to give up or is there still hope? Cycle 1 [IVF, long protocol] > 6 eggs, 5 mature, 2 fertilised, x1 early blast Day 5 = failed implantation Cycle 2 [IVF, long protocol] > 5 eggs, 4 mature

Devastated
Hi ladies, I've just found out my aMH has dropped from 2.3 a year ago to 0.7 now. I don't even know if there's a slight chance with a number this low, I'm absolutely devastated :'(

DHEA for older women
Hi all, I've just had a BFN from my 4th cycle. We only had one embryo, and it was a day 4 transfer. Previous to that, we froze one embryo from a previous cycle. My 3rd round was cancelled due to poor response to meds (we tried a new stim, and my body didn't like it). First and second rounds were NHS

Update
Hi everyone, I haven’t written on here for a while I struggled with all the disappointment we were never getting any hope or good news. I am 34 and have low AMH. Following our first round 4 eggs retrieved only 2 suitable for ICSI one didn’t survive the injection, the other didn’t fertilise. Second round

Feeling deflated during stims
Hey, I’m currently only day 5 of stims, 450 ovaleap and started the fyrmadel today too. I just feel like I’m not responding much. Yeah I feel gross and bloated, but I haven’t had the twinges I had last time in my ovaries. My AMH is 1.3 so I appreciate I’m against the odds. Last time (2 years ago) I

Help please. Do I stick with conventional or change to natural/modified ICSI?
Hi all, I am feeling overwhelmed at the moment with decisions to be made. I have low AMH of 1.6 (Apr 21) and normal FSH. Using donated sperm as on my own. I have done two rounds of conventional IVF/ICSI both long and short protocols. 1 egg out of two fertilised but End in pregnancy on long protocol

Third cycle - switching from short to long protocol - low AMH
Hi everyone, I am going to start my 3rd cycle with my next period. I have done the short protocol twice. We are getting embryos but they are not making it to day 5 blastocysts. Dr thinks there is an egg quality issue linked to low AMH. He has suggested trying the long protocol this time. Has anyone with

Spotting instead of AF, is it DHEA or Fibroids?
Hi all, confused at what my body is doing now. I was diagnosed with uterus fibroids two weeks ago, in my forties. They never said how many but biggest is 1cm, the pain has been getting worst over months especially in my lower back. We have been trying naturally for years (can’t go down the ivf route)

Day 3 quality and where to go from here...
Hi ladies. Hope you're all ok 😊 I'm 40, and on my 3rd fresh round of ICSI, due to male factor and my low AMH. First round got 3 eggs, none made it to day 5, round 2 I had 1 egg and cancelled the cycle, which strangely resulted in pregnancy but then a MMC. This round I've got 3 embies but today been

Hi all, Back for my 2nd fresh round and been for day 7 stims scan today. Follicle count better than last round (I have low amh so not going to get loads) I have 3 large ones and 3 that may or may not catch up. Egg collection probably Wednesday but will confirm on Mondays scan. My question really is

Potential endo and non-hormonal IUD
I think I have endo, or something similar. I've been on painkillers, NSAIDs and have had an ultrasound that was normal. I am now waiting for my referral to the gyno. I was recommended the birth control pill when I was younger to reduce the symptoms but I don't want anything hormonal. I got the non-hormonal

Second round, no embryos to transfer
Our embryo transfer was booked for yesterday (Wednesday). We had the call in the morning (8am) from the clinic to update us on the status of our embyros at day 5 (we already had our day 3 call). They confirmed that there was one slow one and one which could be ready but doesn't look to be doing anything
