Stopping Decaptyl. Help
I am due to have surgery for my fallopian tube, cysts and endometriosis soon and as such I have been on Decaptyl. Awful side effects but I advised my Surgeon I would only do 6 months and thats it. This will bring me to my surgery date, however my surgeon advised I would need to stay on Decaptyl post

Making sense of IVF in your 40s…
Hi, first time on here and hoping to connect with some of you and your stories. I’m 41, just completed a second round of ICSI which has failed. OTD tomorrow morning but BFNs up until this point. Should say I’ve had a left blocked tube and hydrosalpinx, as well as a polyp removal. My AMH is 6.19 1st

Hi all. I am currently in the middle of a frozen cycle which I was eventually able to start in August after 4 months of delays for various reasons. I have had several TSH tests over the past few months to ensure my levels were acceptable prior to starting treatment. However recent results have got

Severe pain and no sleep for weeks
Hi, I've had severe abdominal pain and no sleep for weeks, waiting to see consultant. Usually have constipation but have had a few diahorrea episodes in last few weeks. GP has prescribed amitriyptaline for pain and to help me sleep. Does this work or am I best taking zopliclone or both? Does it cause

OHSS query
Hi all, I am about to start Menopur injections tomorrow after my bleed kicked in finishing norethisterone which made me bloat a lot! I have been reading about OHSS and getting myself worked up about it all and I wondered if anyone could help settle my mind. I’ve been told I’m on a stronger drug regime

1st follicle scan tomorrow - anxious after abandoned cycle in April.
Hi everyone, I’m back .. took a break from everything IVF after our 1st cycle was abandoned back in April due to under responding to medication. Felt like it just really knocked me for six, not even managing to reach EC stage 😞. Anyway … since then. Had my AMH levels checked and all was good. So started

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

4 follicles at first stimulation scan (day 5 short protocol), anyone been in a similar position?
I’ve been told I’ll have a scan again Monday, holding off the suppression until then. It’s such a blow. The one thing that had improved after my miscarriage was the follicles and now they’re worse than when I started a year ago. I had 8 last ivf cycle at my first stimulation scan and that was with a

Balance problems with Anti TNF drugs?
However, I had to have a break from
Anti
TNF
from April-December '20 and gradually realised that the balance problem seemed to have decreased considerably. I re-started the Imraldi in early December and the problem has returned.

Right ovary not responding to meds
Hi ladies, This morning I had my day 8 scan to find my right ovary hasn’t responded at all and left ovary has 2 beautiful follicles. I could tell the dr was taken back. She gave me 2 options, cancel this cycle end induce ovulation m, or go in for egg collection but expect that a transfer may not happen

Should I ask for more?
My fresh transfer wasn’t able to go ahead and my first frozen transfer ended in miscarriage. I’m on Progynova now in prep for second FET. Should I ask to take more progesterone this time round? They mentioned everything will be the same this time (we are unexplained infertility and nothing flagged up

Little bit of good news in amongst the bad
Just posting for my own sanity (and to stop me boring friends and family to death with every little detail) I've had a little win, just had a telephone consultation for NHS funded IVF. I had thought I had no chance of NHS funding as my AMH is so low (1.46 on most recent test) but apparently in my area

Laparoscopy / Hysteroscopy- did you find anything with no prior symptoms?
My FS has recommended a laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy together after 4 failed ivf stims and two miscarriages (one with ivf and one natural) I don’t have any symptoms of endometriosis etc. so curious to know if anyone did these tests and found something they didn’t know about? Went on to have success

IVF offered! In tears
Hi guys, I had a telephone consultation that’s just ended & we’ve been offered IVF, all my bloods are fine, she said my AMH is beautiful lots of eggs! I’ve got until end of September to get my thyroid stable. Over the moon & in tears, I’ve waited so long for this moment and I’ve never given up!

Huge anxiety going into final round
Anyone got any tips with how to cope when you know you are having your final round of IVF? We started over 2 years ago, since then we had one funded round on the NHS and got no eggs. We then had a trio stimulation cycle which was 3 round back to back, just trying to collect eggs as my amh was really

So confused…. Fertility rollercoaster. Do I ovulate? Any advice/ help would be great
Hey ladies, the rollercoaster continues. After a failed cycle in June and being told not eligible for another founded round of IVF, my AMH levels were re tested and increased so back on the waiting list but won’t start until next April. Randomly my AFC has increased too. I wasn’t sure if I ovulate
