Hi everyone, I haven’t written on here for a while I struggled with all the disappointment we were never getting any hope or good news. I am 34 and have low AMH. Following our first round 4 eggs retrieved only 2 suitable for ICSI one didn’t survive the injection, the other didn’t fertilise. Second round changed to long protocol didn’t respond well at all cycle cancelled, cycle 3 I had no faith at all didn’t have that many follicles but we got 3 eggs 2 fertilised which was amazing, a massive shock and huge positive for us as we have severe MFI. Anyway we are at day 5 today I’ve had the call to say that we are going for ET but neither are at blast stage one is fully compacted and the other is partially compacted. The embryologist said that they are behind average where they should be but they have been progressing as they should just slower particularly the fully compacted one. We are having both transferred today. I’m not sure how to feel we never thought we’d ever get to this stage so the fact they haven’t got to blasts has bothered me less than maybe it should I feel like it is all progress. Anyway sorry for the long post if anyone has any similar stories with ET when the cells are compacted (unsure if this is the same as morula) I’d be interested to hear.
Thank you for reading and good luck to you all xx

Just wanted to say good luck for your transfer today. Lots of embryos don’t make it to blasts until day 6 so try not to worry about that. Sending you lots of positive vibes xx
Sending you lots of luck for today! I have a couple of day 6 blastocysts so you might just have some slow developers. I'm using them on my next FET (fingers crossed). 💕
Apparently some clinics are even leaving embryos to develop to day 7 now! And they have success with those slower, late developing blasts. So I hope that gives you some comfort ❤️ You've come so far xx
Hoping one of these is the one! There's every chance they are just a bit slow 🥰 which isn't a bad thing. So glad you have something to transfer (indeed 2!) Lots of love xx
Thank you for your message Aurora. Transfer has been done and they said that the partially compacted embryo had fully compacted so I’m thrilled that they are keeping on going xx
Ahhh exciting to have had a double transfer!! So glad you reached that stage after two disappointing rounds and wishing you so much luck one will stick! xxx
Thank you so much everyone for your well wishes and positive thoughts. The second embryo was fully compacted by the time I went for transfer so 🤞 that one of them (or both) sticks xx
