DHEA - do you need a prescription in the UK?
So BFN this morning (not unexpected) my thoughts are already turning to round 2. I’ve seen lots of ladies with Low AMH talking DHEA, I mentioned it to my consultant on our first round and he was a bit dismissive and said I would need to take it for at least 3 months but if I could get it then he had

Icsi at 42 & a half
Hey lovely people, I’m still in a real dilemma. I came on here last year asking for advice regarding doing ivf at 42 & people were so helpful. I have a good AMH (it was 22 last year) & I ovulate every month at the same time & still have a 28 day cycle. Although I know at 42, it’s unlikely I have good

Rubbish follicle scan :-(
Well, heading sums it up 😂 This is my 3rd ivf cycle (first with my partner- my backstory is soap-opera-territory 🤦♀️😂) and its been 18 months since my last cycle. I had a pretty good response then, 14 follicles (most good size) and 7 eggs resulting in 2 blasts which didn't implant. My AMH then was

Low AMH 1.8, poor responders and endo cysts- have I got any hope? 😔
Hi all, I’ve posted a few times some random questions but not really given my position which might help people with responding to me I’ve been TTC for 2 years plus, 34 years old, low amh, had one failed fresh ivf cycle and no frozen eggs. I was on a long protocol and didn’t respond well to the drugs

Changing clinic - experience of Create Fertility
Has anyone ever changed clinic for treatment? I have had three rounds with one clinic and wondering due to my age and potentially low AMH changing clinics. Does anyone have experience of Create Fertility? Thanks

AMH 4.9 IVF Chances, 37 Years old
Hi everyone, I’ve recently had a failed fresh embryo transfer which was devastating. I’m 37 and we’ve been TTC for >2 years. Our IVF protocol started better than expected and they collected 10 eggs, 8 were mature and 4 made it to blastocyst. I’m terrified to go through another IVF cycle only to end in

Question for very very / undetectable AMH…
Hi all, I’ve got a question for any fellow low-AMH ladies… The NHS tested me and said “it’s 0.6 - low” however they didn’t confirm if it’s’ pmol/L or nmol/L - I’m guessing it’s the former of pmol/L, which makes me a very very bad ivf candidate I believe. So I was wondering if anyone on here knows 100%

Starting again
8dp5dt I had some old blood spotting yesterday but wasn't too concerned but last night the cramps got worse and I got my period so I'm pretty certain we are done for this cycle. I've phoned the clinic this morning who have advised I need to keep up the meds and still test on Thursday (which tbh feels

Step further than last time
Hi ladies, I am not giving up on hope. I was given a 5% chance of pregnancy, we were only expecting to collect 1 egg (or none like last time) . However, during egg collection the doctor managed to collect 3, all of which were mature eggs and fertilised which I was shocked about as the follicle sizes

1ST CYCLE FAILED
Hey everyone, I’m kind of looking some reassurance after my 1st failed cycle! I’m a little different to most of you so let me explain I am a single person who is going through my ivf journey as a single person, I am using donor sperm! My AMH level is 10.6 and I’m 31 years old! Everything in the beginning

Embryo batch freezing (antagonist protocol)
Hey lovelies, I just finished a 3-cycle back-to-back embryo batch freezing and wanted to share my journey with you, with the hope that this would be useful for others going through it right now or thinking of in the future.
Background:
I’m 32 and have low antral follicle counts (10) and AMH (11

I just did my first ivf/Icsi cycle. 6 eggs where retrieved, 4 fertilised. 3 only had 2 cells by day 3 and arrested that day. 1 had 6 cells by day 3. I was booked in for my transfer this morning day 5. But got a call saying the embryo was still

Anyone get pregnant naturally after failed cycle with low AMH and AFC? And/ Or weight loss? Need some hope xx
Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. After getting BFN yesterday I have been crying constantly and barely slept. But now trying to plan next steps to give me something to focus on. Me and my partner were TTC for two years before IVF after being referred and the monthly sadness

Should I ask to see rheumatologist?
Hi - rarely post here but do follow. I was diagnosed with seronegative RA 19 years ago. Initially treated with sulphasalazine, to which I reacted v badly but took for long enough to bring my inflammatory markers down before I stopped as I wanted to get pregnant again (RA started during my first pregnancy
