Androgel
with a PSA of .31 and i'm still incontinent (which I will admit is not as bad as it was).

Starting Nov 20 last year, I began a relugolix on-cycle. Here’s the PSA readings from that point: Nov 20 : 3.10 Jan 8: 0.31 Feb 27: 0.13 Apr 15: 0.08 So up to this point, the PSA is dropping nicely, as it always has with on-cycles; and as I would expect, since I’ve been a strong responder

Worried about pulmonary fibrosis if radiating the metastasis in my shoulder blade
When I saw my radio-oncologist a few days ago and asked what is the risk for my lungs if we use radiation against the metastasis in my right shoulder blade. He said that there is a risk that it could cause fibrosis but that it does not impact breathing and that I should not worry. Today I decided to

PALB2 Stage 4 A prostate cancer treatment plan.
My Partner has stage 4A prostate cancer spread to the nodules and has the PALB2 gene. How effective is internal and external radiation and ADT as the first line of treatment? Why can't the drs start with PARP inhibitors and chemo which is the standard of care as a second line treatment? Is it because

So the odds we all read about... are they true?
When my husband (age 52) was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer two and a half years ago, he was told the outlook was "grim." Everything we read told us once it moves to the bone (his has) then you're looking at months, not years, of life left. He had TEMPUS done, which was basically the oncologist

Before I leave this wonderful group I'd like to pick your individual/collective brains. Since it's too late to help my husband, I'm looking for info that I can pass on to my son and 6 grandsons so they might better understand this awful cancer should they ever get it. I'm also providing a bit more info

Does urinary frequency/urgency diminish after cessation of ADT?
I’m on the last month of a one year course of Orgovyx/Nubeqa for 4+3, 4.7PSA (now .006), Decipher .88. Brachyboost with pelvic SBRT 8/23 at UCLA My bladder volume at baseline was 500-600 ml (even hit 700 once). But over the months it has steadily decreased to currently 200-300ml. 350 if I really torture
