Please advise - symptoms worsening
Hi all, As you may remember from previous posts, I’m still borderline anaemic and so I increased my iron dosage as per instructions several weeks ago. My FT3 has also plummeted from a decade average of 6 to now 4.8 (range 3.1-6.8) I’m getting horrific migraines (they start with blinding auras). I stopped

Struggling Financially with Leukaemia?
I was diagnosed with CLL in July 2013 and had already been registered with Macmillan in 2004 when I had bowel cancer, although at that time I didn't need much help other than problems with stoma bags and local support groups, both of which they helped me with. Financially I was okay being paid by my

When to take iron with T3 multi-dosing
I'm trying to work out when to fit in taking iron (Three arrows) with my T3 doses. I am taking T3 as per my private Dr's schedule which is 3 times per day and 6-7 hours apart. I'm wondering whether to switch to x2 per day or can I close the gap and make it shorter than 6 hours and then take iron before

My daughter of 27yrs with a learning disability has been going through major mood swings and depression for the last 18 months. She can’t sleep and is constantly crying and repeating herself. I managed to get an appointment with our local mental health and she had 2 appointments with a psychiatrist

Overcoming anxiety about going out
Since I started on immunotherapy in January, I've had a few setbacks. I've had episodes of really bad pain - diverticulitis, I've had to have fluid drained from my lung and around my heart - both made me feel very unwell. I now have atrial fibrilation which seems to be a side issue of lung cancer

3 years ago we received a Foundation ONE Report giving us the report he has CDK12 mutation. He has been on Lupron, NUBEQA, and Zytiga. Over time they have failed. Recently, 4 lymph nodes were removed for thorough testing to make sure C had not mutated into Neuroendocrine. It had not. Actually, the

Hashimoto's blood test and cortisol tests
I have been asked by my GP Surgery to provide them with the list of blood tests I believe are correct for a patient with Hashimoto's. I don't seem to be able to find it. Would someone be kind enough to show me where I may find it please? Is it the same as under active blood test or are there 'extras'
