Once a day T3ers only
Do you still do your blood tests in the same way as those on divided doses or T4? I can't think of any better way unless someone has any ideas? I am taking all my T3 on waking so got earliest appointment I could ( testing other stuff too so can't do my own finger prick test) and that is 10am Mon, sadly

Kidney blood test
Hi all I 39, workout 3 times a week, don’t smoke or drink alcohol and I had a SCAD heart attack 2 weeks ago. Completely shocked but I’m being positive. I’m now on dissolvable aspirin and Ramipril. I take the aspirin at lunch and Ramipril at night so well away from my T3 and T4 which I take first

Is my T4 still too high ?
I’ve just had my bloods done and my results are the same as last year except my T3 has come down from 6.2 to 6.0 I take 100mcg 5 days & 75mcg 2 days a week along with 10mcg Thybon all in one dose.My question is should I reduce Thyroxine to try to bring it down a bit more as I’ve read there are risks

Boom!! Dexa Scan Normal.
I'm on T3 medication only, which was prescribed very reluctantly by my NHS endo. I've slowly upped my dose over the last 12 months, and whilst he was happy (ish) to prescribe 60mcg per day, he pretty much flipped his lid at our last appointment in January when I told him I was taking 80mcg (and all in

Thyroid test denied
Hi everyone, I'm very confused right now. For the first time in fifteen years, I had a GP asking all sorts of irrelevant questions when I asked my thyroid to be tested and the Free T3 included. In the end, according to them, the lab didn't test the FRee T3. Obviously, this is due to the GP's input

Struggling Financially with Leukaemia?
I was diagnosed with CLL in July 2013 and had already been registered with Macmillan in 2004 when I had bowel cancer, although at that time I didn't need much help other than problems with stoma bags and local support groups, both of which they helped me with. Financially I was okay being paid by my

How to get an accurate T3 reading with bloods?
Ive asked a similar question before, regarding blood testing for T4/T3 and realised for years I was having a blood sample done a few hours after I had taken my Levo upon waking up. People on here then said to have the bloods done that morning before taking T4, to get a more accurate reading. Since then

Newly diagnosed
Hey y'all. I was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis, I had an acute attack and was hospitalized for 11 days. I've never had issues before now that I knew of, but upon doing a CAT scan they discovered a 9cm cyst on my pancreas. I don't drink, but I did eat quite poorly unfortunately. I had to wait for
