Hi guys I am new to this site and it is my first post.My husband has compensated cirrhosis diagnosed in Dec 2023. 6 mth scans were recommended as cancer surveillance. However the first scan revealed a small tumor in the left lobe. He has undergone radiation treatment for this now completed the course. His ALT level was 40 that was within normal range but latest alt level is elevated to 70.My question is does having radiation elevate liver enzymes it certainly is not from drinking alcohol. Can anyone shed any light on this please.
