ANA test result?

My daughter has had a negative ANA test but it says underneath Cytoplasmic staining. Ive obv looked this up on google and am now highly concerned. I can't get hold of a doctor to explain this and can't stop worrying. Does anyone know what this means and hopefully put my mind at rest?

ANA test - Sjogrens, Lupus?

I was referred to Dermatology who performed an ANA test to rule out Lupus. My results show positive for ANA and anti-La antibodies but negative for ds-DNA. I have no clue what this may indicate - sjögren's syndrome - lupus, none of these??

Has anyone had ongoing headaches for two months with diarrhea, and a rash? I’ve had every test done.. could this be celiacs?

Hello

My ANA test is negative, but the doctor says I have all signs of Lupus. Raised CRP and ESR levels, hair loss, skin rashes, joint pain, fatigue etc. Have had cortsteroid injection today with a review in a few months to start hydroxychloroquine if needed. Has anyone had similar experience?

ANA Test

I'm sure that lots of you will tell me that you have tested positive for this too! I'm also RF and CCP negative. Wondered if anyone else had this profile or not! Just wondering as it was suggested by hospital that I don't take Sulfasalazine. I suspect I know what it means but hope I might be wrong!

Question regarding ANA

Does anyone know why TPO antibodies are on the ANA test if Graves disease and Hashimoto’s are not systemic autoimmune diseases?

Does anyone recognize these symptoms? Any tips?

ANA test was positive, tests showed Scleroderma. GP has referred me to Specialist. I’m also freezing and only a warm shower will give me relief. Any one recognize these symptoms? Could this be Scleroderma? It’s two months out till my appt. and I want to do what I can until then to feel better.

Got blood work results back today

My naturopath drew blood for my thyroid and ANA test last week. Got the results today and no surprise but thyroid's way out of wack. New prescriptions should help get me closer to where I need to be. BUT the surprise, to me anyway, is that my ANA is negative.

Hurrah an appointment with rheumatologist, but I’ve got a fever

I’ve had a low grade fever for about a week and it’s one of the things that convinced the drs to do the ana test. Should I say nothing so I don’t lose my appointment? Maybe I should go for a Covid test tomorrow in advance? Anyone else suffer from temperatures but don’t know what causes it?

Can anyone help please

Had an ana test taken by gp who said its negative as it's a very weak positive. Told him my awful new headache symptom which I had the other night and he just said just put some heat on it and all will be ok.

Follow up to positive ANA test

After posting yesterday I had a couple of lovely responses from some people with psoriatic arthritis and I thank them. I was wondering though, if anyone with RA had also tested positive or not. As many of you know I am changing meds, they are being given a month to work - if not then biologics have

Newly positive S.L.E. test

I recently had the ana test which came back positive and have been referred to a rheumatologist. There aren’t any appointments currently and with waiting lists I may not be seen for months.

DFS Pattern

I got a second ana test done and it came back as 1:640 densely fine speckled, are their any autoimmune diseases that it could point to? I was tested for lupus but these test came back negative but it showed inhad a extended dvrrt levels and my liver enzymes were pretty high as well. Any thoughts?

Finally got to see a Rheumatologist.

I was told by my General Dr. that my ANA test showed that I had ANTISCLERODERMA-70 Antibodies. That along with the symptoms I have been having he recommended that I go see a Rheumatologist.

Lupus diagnosis

ANTI-NUCLEAR ANTIBODY (ANA TEST) – Positive ANA result a couple of years ago, but standard follow-up tests came back negative. No further action taken. I also have several of the other main symptoms of Lupus – exhaustion, miscarriages, weightloss, various rashes... Thank you for any advice! BI
