OTHER SUPPLEMENTS WITH VITAMIN B?
I am currently on weekly b12 injections (pushing for 2x weekly) but I am curious as to what other supplements I should be taking while receiving these injections. My doctor said that my folate levels were “fine” after 2 weeks of injections and that my b12 was raised (waiting to pick up my results so

Inositol hexaphosphate plus inositol
New paper below. I don't like anecdotal info, even from the Mayo Clinic, & particularly for a different cancer, but I know that Dr Shamsuddin's formula is popular with many men with PCa. But please don't try it as monotherapy like this crazy person: "Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) also called phytic acid

Supplementing with Biotin &/or Inositol
Just used the Search Box,but decided to post to get answers after trawling for an answer to my query. Is it a good idea to supplement with either of these B vitamins if underactive with Hashi's?If so,why? I rarely eat meat, but I do eat all other foods.I supplement already with B vitamins: B1,B2,B5,B6

Supplements
Hi there I was wondering how many others have had really good success with using supplements for their RLS. My partner had legs that jumped in the daytime and at night I put him on a complex B and his legs are usually really good except when he gets slack on taking supplements.

Cll and being breathless.
About 4 years ago I was diagnosed with cll. I've noticed over a few years I'm getting breathless more often and it's lead to panic attacks. A doctor Darren Schmidt on YouTube said the condition could be due to a lack of vitamin B . I've just started taking vitamin B and the difference is incredible.

Elevated Ferratin
I have was diagnosed with Hashimotos about 10 years ago. I always felt tired despite being told I was adequately compensated. Recently I was getting heat palpitations. It was quite a sudden onset (not gradually getting worse) they just seemed to appear, quite sever and lasting for hours at a time.

Endocrinologist appointment
O.K, I'm not sure if going to the Endocrinologist was a good idea...it has left me with more questions than answers and a 'Massive' invoice to boot. Aside from cost, she took a look at my medichecks report, after I made it VERY CLEAR that I came off my T4 for a number of weeks beforehand. She wanted

Vitamin B12 "normal" Folate low
Vitamin B12 is 365 (normal range 181-910), but my Serum Folate is 5.1 (should be >5.4). My Serum Ferratin was 28ug( (normal 10-291). What does this mean please, Is my B12 OK, and if so why is My Folate low? I want to know how best/what to supplement. Someone mentioned on the Thyroid forum that I may

Cramp
Hello you lovely lot, I wondered if any of you suffer with this. it is severe cramp in the upper part of my neck, on the right hand side, leading to my ear. It goes on and on and lasts several minutes where my head becomes immobile. It continues like this for possibly a whole day, with breaks in between

Stop taking vitamins before blood tests?
Hello! I'm new here. I've not been diagnosed, but I have many, many symptoms, so going to ask GP to investigate. I may have had thyroid tests done before as part of routine blood tests, so will ask for previous results when I go. I was wondering if I should stop taking vitamins before having blood tests

Second consultant meeting this week - for cirrhosis....
Morning all, So despite being two months after the target date, my second post-hospital consultation is on Thursday and I’m getting into a flap (in a fear of stage fright way) about having everything I need on my list - most of us know how precious these appointments are and I really, really don’t want

WHAT ABOUT OTHER B VITAMINS
I have read that B-1 interferes with other B vitamins. I've also read that B6 is depleted in PD patients that are taking Levodopa.

Will Levo still work if vitamins aren't optimal?
I had an ultrasound last Friday which shows damage, I have to wait 10 days before my GP will get the results. My idea over these few weeks was to build up my vitamin levels, test them via Medichecks and then go back to my gp and request Levo. My problem is my bladder. Its a big problem actually which

Reposting of comments on depression and the gut. How to heal the gut naturally
The following has been copied from another thread and covers issues about the role of the gut in depression, and ACAC has such useful advice here about how to heal the gut that I have reposted it for people who missed that thread. My husband has had depression and anxiety for quite a few years prior
