I sent a medichecks full thyroid profile test off yesterday and have just remembered that I didn't stop taking my b vitamins for a week beforehand as recommended!! 🙀

Will this mess up all my results?? Or just some of the readings??

Although we always say to leave off Bioton/B Complex for 7 days before a blood test, this is probably being over cautious. The actual wording that Medichecks includes in their oder confirmation email is:

Do not take biotin supplements for 2 days prior to this test. If you are taking prescribed biotin you should discuss this with your doctor.

So it's possible that your results may be affected and give false results but it's impossible to say exactly how. It may be worth you contacting Medichecks.
