Firstly look at wedgewood posts and fbirder for shopping lists. Medisave is where I get my needkes from.

Do write to your sugery

Do get help from PAS

Hi,

"doctor stopped my medication 9 months ago"

Did you challenge your doctor and ask them to explain why your medication was stopped?

Have you asked GPs to reinstate B12 injections?

Unhappy with Treatment (UK info)?

Letters to GPs about B12 deficiency

If you want to query your treatment then I recommend putting your concerns into a brief, polite letter to GP as I think letters are harder to ignore. The link above has letter templates that people can base their own letters on.

May also be worth contacting your MP/devolved representative to see if they can help.

If GP won't start injections again then you could draw their attention in any letter or conversation to the risk of permanent neurological damage if a person is untreated or under treated for B12 deficiency.
