I have been on Amitriptyline, Propranolol and Alprazolam (Xanax - a benzo) for years now. They worked well and then

Seeking input on effectiveness of ketamine or TMS therapy; does it work for OCD?
TMS = transcranial magnetic stimulation I have had OCD for 17 years and CBT and medication have helped in the past, but symptoms remain. I am always looking for better ways to improve. I cannot get any doctors or therapists to consider ketamine or TMS. I wanted to see if anyone has had any success,

Please help me if you can
So, i have been having burning and aching in my legs on and off since 2014. Dr eventually said it's my back. So I had root sleeve injections epidural , stunning of the nerve etc. Its still there. I am convinced it's not my back. I recently got diagnosed with my hip needing to be resurfaced... but again

PCOS making weight loss almost impossible
Help please! I have always been fat and found out the rason for that 20 years ago, in my 30s. I have PCOS which makes me insulin resistant, in turn making all carbs a hinderence to weight loss. Yes, that includes fruit, root veg and what I call 'nice veg' (peas, sweetcorn). All the slimming clubs

New, more effective treatment f/ depression, anxiety
I just found out about doctors using ketamine for depression and anxiety and pain. It's not like the SSRI's or SNRI's and has a better track record. So of course the FDA won't approve it. There are a few clinics that use it but you have to go there a lot & get infusions for an hr or more. But it's also

Help Assessing Results - Low T3, Low Folate
Hi all, first post for me, and what a wonderful and supportive forum this is. So happy I found it. I’m hoping some of the experienced thyroid analysts could come out and offer their thoughts on my blood work. My Dr. flagged a few things, among which was low T3, and low folate, and said some conventional

suggestions?
After the migraines started two years ago it wasnt long until the anxiety and panic attacks started. MRI scans found only fluid and lesions. Different medications were given that didnt lessen the pain much. I'm currently on amitriptyline which has helped most of all. The worst part all this is the lack

PMR or not?
Hello, I am new to this disease (I think). I have been put on 15mg of Prednisolone a day, still experiencing a bit of soreness, very stiff in the mornings and have some days worse than others. My G.P. has now said that she does not think that I have PMR. I am very confused as I had been back & forward

One step closer *insert cheers here*
So, we’re finally getting somewhere. I had an appointment with my GP this morning, I had a pelvic and rectal exam done while on my period today. She found blood in my back passage. The exam was painful but well worth it. Turns out my referral to gyno was ‘urgent’ anyway, despite that I’ve been waiting
